Re: “America's one big pothole

General Palmer's vision for our wide right of ways was that we use them for multiple modes of transportation. Bikes, Cars, Trolleys and Streetcars, Horse pulled carriages and pedestrians. We then said screw that and made them cars only wastelands. We have the room to put protected bike lanes all over the place. Combine that with a couple of trolleys and this town would attract the kind of people that tend to chose Ft Collins over COS. Keep up the good fight John!

Re: “Got the message?

The city has policies. They are not followed. The reason for not following them? We don't want to trouble the public with how the city is actually run: back channel deals, nepotism, and overpaid positions for unqualified employees. Didn't you get the memo?

Re: “Legally, it doesn't take much for a guest to stake a claim to your home

It a law that protects you if your roommate or landlord wants you out This prevents them from changing locks, taking your property or shutting off utilities. Only a Judge can order an eviction even if you have violated your lease nobody can bounce you out.

Re: “Runaway

ArcheAge is an MMORPG developed by Korean developer Jake Song (former developer of Lineage) and his development company, XL Games. The game was released in Korea on January 15, 2013, Europe and North America on September 16, 2014, and has also had a closed beta in China. ArcheAge is described as a "sandpark" MMORPG, which the developers say is a hybrid of the open content style of a "sandbox" game and the more structured play experience of a "themepark" game.

Re: “'Fluff' news, safe and clean parks, pot and the press, and more

Dear Father Carmody,

I recently read your letter in the Colorado Springs Independent. I believe you are out of touch with church policy and teachings. This letter shows deep-rooted prejudice and irresponsible behavior unbecoming of a representative of the church
I have never read a more disrespectful, ill-conceived, unchristian letter. How dare you, especially as someone with the ironic title of "Respect Life Director", compare homosexuals with the Ku Klux Klan.
Ignoring, as you did, the fact that the pizza parlor owner used language almost exactly the same as the anti-catholic rhetoric you claimed your grandfather was a victim.

He, the owner-Kevin O'Connor, stated: "That lifestyle is something they choose. I choose to be heterosexual. They choose to be homosexual. Why should I be beat over the head to go along with something they choose?"

If he chose to be heterosexual, it makes me wonder what he was before, and how this choice was made available to him. No one else seems to have been given the option. Did you chose to be heterosexual, male, Catholic? I am heterosexual, no choice was made available to me.
He used the fear of retaliation by persons unknown to play victim and used the publicity to collect over $830,000 in donations from people who thought the threats were real (no evidence exists they ever received any credible threat) and some believed their pizza parlor had actually been burned down. If there is a modern day KKK, it is the ultra self-righteous pseudo-christians that condemn people for loving each other, a group in which you are now a charter member. Catholic Church policy states that while homosexuality is considered immoral, every homosexual person should be treated with respect and love.

Re: “UPDATE: Bruce/Collins alliance affirmed in lawsuit

How about putting some effort into finding out WHO paid for Collins recall election? Is it Jenkins, the developer who will profit by millions of dollars when his currently worthless properties in the URA become valuable with the building of the C4C stadium, using OUR sales tax revenue? Or is it Anschutz, the owner of the Gazette and employer of Laugeson, whose wife was involved in the recall? Or is it both of them? Or other City Leaders? Why not do some investigative reporting re this political cesspool?

As for Bruce and Collins real estate ventures, if you were to shine a spotlight on the deals the BIG developers make, what might you find? In his favor, I don't see Bruce attempting to divert millions of dollars in sales tax revenue in order to build a downtown stadium that taxpayers don't want. The Gazette won't investigate the Collins recall. Will you?

Maggies is a joke, impersonal service, rude budtenders and the shady aspects of an illegal buy. Move em in and out and take it or leave it seems to be the attitude of staff at Maggies. I'll take my business elsewhere!

"bv is confused and doesn't understand the issue"

bv sees no evidence of CAGW. if you do, illuminate him.
bv spends way too much time reading up on the issue, and would like to be free to do other things.

Re: “'Fluff' news, safe and clean parks, pot and the press, and more

Re Phil Stahl letter:
"a full 96.2 percent concur that temperatures have steadily risen, and there is no evidence for cooling. Meanwhile, 97.4 percent concur there is a definite role of humans in climate change."
Your accuracy is disturbing. The numbers are closer to 100% - no one is debating rising temps nor whether humans have some impact.

The question is 'How much?'

A letter full of conflation gets us no closer to the answer.
