Obviously he did not grow up watching Mr Rogers or Sesame Street. He knows nothing about keeping promises, being kind and compassionate or working with others.
NPR chief fundraising coordinator says NPR would be better off without federal funding. So maybe the editor and chief along with journalists of this paper are the ones who are out of touch. In 2011 $50 mill was cut by a measure Senate passed. This isn't something new and you may well educate yourself on what popular vote really means. NPR has lost touch with the people and also not the best source for education. If a teacher has to use this instead of national geographic. We'll that's your first major issue. Teachers who shouldn't be teaching.

Was Lamborn not raised on Sesame Street, Electric Company and Mr. Rogers? PBS is the standard-bearer for educational television. I am proud to be a Sesame Street kid.
Of course NPR is distrusted among conservatives. They eliminate the smoke amongst the Conservative mirrors.
the meow grabber only stated you're fired after the leak proved he was involved in all the mess. now the attention is aimed at him and he's trying to deflect attention at the leak and not how he knew all along of this mess and did NOTHING!!! typical repubicans will investigate a dem for years and come up with nothing but when everyone knows there are repubs behind this mess they don't want any investigation... HYPOCRITE lying sacs all of them.
A face to face session with a strong moderator featuring Mr. Skorman and Mr. Fowler, the CSF endorsed candidate - on how best to address the three top issues facing the city should be illuminating. Then Mr. Fowler could go back to his day job.
Richard's a hell of a class act. Not sure there is anyone with a better understanding of our city government than Richard Skorman in town. And he's a got a good sense of humor.
Rather have a Chuck than a Chard anyday....
I already feel pretty secure, but I'll never feel too smart. Unfortunately, NPR is typically distrusted among conservatives, so he's unlikely to change his mind.
I've always enjoyed a nice, crisp Chard.
Do you hand your dollar to the beggar standing on the median or do you hand it to a non-profit homeless organization. At the moment neither seems to be a solution.
homeless charitys are fake......thay say thay give but thay do not
Ok? www.coloradoprogressiveparty.org is socialist republican? Wuut? But the article says "you don't have to be Democrat"...hmmm. I say every person gets one acre when born, no silly governments.
Really? Third term? How about strict term limits and transparency? Progressives like Bernie promise free college in health care..wuuuuht? www.ColoradoProgressiveParty.org
We live in a culture of instant gratification. For many, it is hard to accept that after five years, Waldo Canyon is still off limits and might be for quite some time. But you can't rush Mother Nature. As the article states, "human activity in the canyon can also disturb the fragile eco-systems, further inhibiting the recovery of the canyon." The revegetation of Waldo Canyon should always supercede the public's *desire* to hike there.
Um the thought of local law enforcemwnt taking on this extra reaponsibility will result in lawless in the forest. Have you ever had to dial 911 lately, "your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line, your call will be answered in the order it was received." Local law enforcement does not have the budget or staffing levels to do this.
It's not only the unstable soil/sediment that poses a hazard, but now the tress have become unstable. The tops and whole tress are now falling & breaking when there are high winds. I've seen tops falling off & trees falling over at the roots that are now rotting. Any trails in the burn area would need trees cut up to 100 feet on either side of the trail so that hikers are safe. Rebuilding a trail on unstable soil also posses issues. Without ground cover the soil sloughs very easily and would require a lot of trail maintenance. I'm seeing all these issues at the Flying W Ranch were I built a 6,000 LF equestrian trail for a waterline. I understand people want to hike in Waldo Canyon, but be patient & let the regrowth help stabilize the soil. I've been in Waldo Canyon do mitigation, and have see the devastation.
Why is this film not playing here? On to Denver, I guess.
