What's fascinating is the short memories people have. It was Republicans who pushed for public funding of birth control in many states and on the federal level. Then, one of the puppetmasters decided to make this a wedge issue to accomplish two things. Continue the War On Women and slide in the option for health insurers and companies to deny health care coverage.
My opinion is that the both the government AND the church need to keep their noses out of everyone's bedroom, doctor's offices and personal choices.
It's disgustingly hypocritical that the GOP/T who scream about government being too intrusive and too big, suddenly want that very same government to stick its nose into this extremely private area of everyone's life. Curse the GOP for getting in bed with the religious right, who are neither.
Dang, Molly, I wish you would have asked my opinion.
I think the government needs to get completely out of our personal lives. That means they do not tell someone what to do with their body and it also means they do not fund one side or the other of the issue.
As a recent emigre from New York, I guess I'm spoiled. It always astounded me to see the tourists visiting the food mecca of America crowding the chain restaurants that proliferate in Times Square. There are quite a few good restaurants here in the Springs. But, as Janice Moglen said, there are far too many chains and people who think that's good food. Personally, my wife and I support the locals as much as we can. It's our hope that by doing this, a robust local dining scene will flourish.
My picture turned out horrible (mario collins) but thanks for the spot on your paper. Respect'
Every year, at this time of the year, I think about changing my eating habits and incorporating more nutritious food into my diet. But with the end of Christmas and the beginning of a new year, my resolution also ends. Thanks
What's the matter with Kansas?
I think using daily deals can be very beneficial, but it needs to be done carefully. Think before you simply invest in a groupon or similar deal.
A great way for consumers to find deals and sales in their respective areas is by using http://www.dailydealpool.com. This site will email you daily with the best buys available, ensuring you won't miss a steal!
OS vs SC - who do you root for? LOL
Having practiced yoga both with and without clothing, I'd say nude yoga is more comfortable! There's naked yoga in NYC, too of course. I always thought of contact sports like Football and Rugby as the worst ones to do naked!
Nothing is as comfortable or fits better than your birthday suit. I came home from work one day and took off my shoes. It felt so good I kept on going. Nothing like a vacation at a clothing optional resort or beach where all you have to wear is a smile. Nude when possible and clothed when appropriate works for me. A great site to check out is www.aanr.com.

Naturism is a philosophy that values simplicity and increased harmony with nature. http://www.truenudist.net offers a friendly and confidential environment for nudists.
Vacationing at nudist resorts are lots of fun. Linda is right, once you try it, you will love it. The American Association for nude recreation, founded in 1931 is the major organization for nudists. Their sites lists clubs and resorts all over the US and Canada. Their site is http://aanr.com
And if you want you a great nude vacation in sunny Palm Springs, California, than The Terra Cotta Inn is the place to go. Their site is http://sunnyfun.com
So try a nude vacation and say goodbye to your funny tanlines forever.
Thank you for including me in this column. However, I'm a little embarrassed. I said I was an editor and proofreader, but my first answer has evinced with a dangling modifier (charity that....etc.). Any way for me to disavow all knowledge of/responsibility for this snafu? I loved being interviewed, so I mean no insult to the interviewer at all. He was so nice. It was really a fun time. It's not often people actually want me to talk, or pay me for talking. Oh, that's right, it was free hot air. Seriously, thank you. Please note: this little note has not been proofread! Best, julianza
Why do we stigmatize the mentally ill?
Speak for yourself. Why do y o u ? For that matter, how is it you see us as a generic "the?"
