Whether you yearn for frames made of thick http://www.casquettesfr.com plastic or skinny metal, or new-school "hybrids" made of both, readers say LensCrafters is the best place to buy your spectacles.
Very helpful list indeed! When it comes to buying eyeglasses online, here's another great resource I came across on the web: http://www.bestbuyeyeglasses.com - the site features a diverse collection of designer eyeglasses, sunglasses, frames and lenses at deep discount prices. Great site for those who eye high end labels but on a limited budget.
I'll bet the guards at the Nazi Concentration Camps were real lovable guys too. Probably had families, friends and children. They weren't some kind of demons. But that doesn't mean they were in the right and that old excuse of "I was just following orders" don't cut it anymore.
Wow. I know that a lot of people disagree with the policies out government has set out, but I'm more than a little shocked and offended at your judgmental, harsh, and frankly hateful tone.
To judge an entire class of people who sign up to put their lives at risk so that you can sit back and criticize them is tasteless at best and malicious at worst.
Rather than encourage you in your Limbaugh-esque diatribe (another hate monger who speaks only negatively with no regard for truth or even reality), I'm going to sign off by saying that, with no equivocation, no exception, and no room for debate, you're wrong in assigning those traits to our soldiers. You're absolutely wrong.
The men and women in our military are not perfect, they are not flawless, and they are just as likely to make mistakes as the next person. They are also brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, and friends who vote Democrat and Republican, who fight when they have to, who miss their families when they're separated, who do the best they can, and who deserve more than someone like you.
Well, I suppose if you're going to have delusions you may as well go for the really satisfying one. People join the military because they have no hope of finding a good job where they grew up and weren't smart enough for a college scholarship.
When we take these losers and ship them over to a war zone they play out a combination of their Steven Segal fantasies and their most depraved sexual predatory natures. Such a great model of what America is all about.
Yeah, thank you so very much for that.
Ok, can I just say that for an article about the best of what Colorado Springs has to offer, I'm seeing a lot of the worst of this city.
You can disagree with the policies and politics of the military, but don't trash the soldiers. I don't agree with it either, but I won't tell those in my family who've bravely agreed to take on a responsbility I would never choose that their choice is one that makes them bad people.
For those who don't know, when you join the military you don't get to pick and choose the issues you are willing to fight for. You say, "I'm here, I'm willing to stand up for my country, and I'm going to do it to the best of my ability." Not, "I'm here, I'm willing to stand up, but only if we can run through the pros and cons of each issue first." The ones who are responsbile for that are those in charge of our government, not our soldiers.
You wouldn't blame an assembly line worker for the failures of GM, would you? Don't blame the men and women who fight for us for the past mistakes of previous administrations.
What exactly am I supposed to thank a soldier for? Thank you for executing policies that make Americans hated worldwide. Thank you for blowing up those annoying brown people who are stupidly sitting on our resources. Thank you for torturing prisoners and sending pics to your buddies so the world can know how barbaric we Americans can be. Gee, I have so much to thank those soldiers for. I'm so proud to be an American.
I'm wondering why the military is even part of this commentary, shame on you for not being thankful for all the sacrifices that are made daily by our military. You should THANK a soldier the next time you see one! As far as the Haute Cuisine, I'm wondering when this town will have a "best of" for local businesses only, national chains should not be included.
Man! The previous poster can't even post a comment on the local food scene without hating on the military? In these harsh economic times, I think you should be pretty grateful that your have military folks here to support your local businesses. Ft Carson pumps a half a billion dollars into Colrado Springs just on construction alone. Daily, 2000 workers are employed just by the Ft Carson expansion and that is expected to last through 2010. Another good thing about having military folks around: they are all employed -- unlike yourself.
I still think you should have " Best Place To Adopt a Pet. I vote Dreampower Animal Rescue.
I still think a good category would be Best Local Blog.
Wonder why? www.outinleftfield.com
It is sad that some of the 2007 winners are chain restaurants. It should only be Colorado Springs local business.
Congratulations on consecutive Gold wins! It makes me wonder why YOU weren't featured on the cover of Volume Two of the 'Best Of' edition. You've been around for many years and and with all your honors should have received the "glory" of the front page instead of a bunch of tattooed idiots!
On any weekend night here in Colorado Springs, the cumulative IQ of all of the denizens roaming Tejon Street still wouldn't equal the collective knowledge of a aquarium full of sea monkeys...
In fact, there is always the very real danger of a gigantic, brain-sucking, "anti--IQ" black hole forming out of the massive concentration of sheer stupidity that exists within a two block area. Think about it- We are safer from terrorists than we are from these brain dead hicks....
Im so glad that homogenous chains score well.
Shows how the army folks in Co Springs lack imagination.
YES!! Sanguine Addiction won!!! Those guys are the BEST!!!
Lovin' the new layout of your web design. Well done all around.
