I'm not politically correct," he said later. "I really think it is a destructive force in our country and it keeps people from talking." No, maybe we the people are thinking for ourselves and going against the BS rhetoric of your interpretation of the Bible!
I think it is his kind of thinking that is the destructive force in our country! I don't know why you would ever think that he would unite our country Kathy, when he states "gay-marriage proponents in a list that included supporters of bestiality and pedophilia." If you don't believe in Marriage Equality, then don't marry someone of the same sex, but to deny other American's their right to marry is so wrong and I hope Americans cab see his bigotry for what it is! Anyone can claim its their religious right, so practice what you preach and let others live their lives as they choose!
Dr Ben Carson is a very intelligent, articulate man, who speaks to those of us who want to unite our country! Please take a moment to sign the petition to draft Dr Ben to run for president!
this place is messed up they told me that there were no deaths while i was placed in their care. then while being on the unit the staff purposely picked on me until i hit him he did this when he found out i was leaving and then laughed in my face and said your staying here.
my collar bone was also broken the day of my birthday
Can't wait to see how the Clerk's office will run ads that do not mention Wayne Williams' name. He IS the Clerk, after all. Didn't another local elected rep incur the wrath of ethics watch groups for 'public service' announcements while the guy was running for the office responsible for the announcements?
Dave, it was reported on, fairly widely, before Ferguson. Some of those same stories are being referenced in new stories tied to Ferguson, hence "resurfaced." We're not trying to fool or confuse anyone; just the opposite. And if there were similar programs predating the early '90s, we weren't aware of them.
Today is my wedding anniversary and I have a lot to rejoice about. My husband is home and we are celebrating together. The Enemy came in and tried to have his way and that's when I found your email and I am standing ever since. Although my husband never physically left, Dr Lawrence brought his heart home and today we can celebrate each other. Dr Lawrence has been so good and so helpful to us. What a great man you are thank you so much Drlawrencespelltemple@gmail.com
Broadmoor and the shady El Pomar, so called non-profit foundation helps advance republican agenda for a reason. Without the foundation they would not be able to avoid paying taxes and funneling money into Republican campaigns and superpacs that are interested in one thing, profit for corporations like Broadmoor and keeping Springs residents and America in economic slavery. When El Pomar donates money its with a GOP agenda attached, it is in charge of Broadmoor's image and is very influential with local judges and government. You will be surprised what free rooms at a 5 star resort can get you. While they have countless lavish banquets at our cost (most of which are written off as business expenses) and their managers fly overseas to find new foreign employees, Colorado residents will continue to get screwed in more ways than one. Wanna be an elitist? Go to the Broadmoor.
"reports have resurfaced that police departments are being equipped with free gear such as armored vehicles from the military."
Resurfaced? You make it sound like the reports went away for a while or were being covered up. Nothing "resurfaced", they have been reported on pretty constantly. And it didn't start in the 90s, that was just one of the more recent programs, it has been going on for decades longer than that. You can easily go back to the 1920s and find examples of this happening.
It is unfortunate that house shown in the paper article was not necessarily a good representation of poverty stricken areas nor a neighborhood that has felt the effects of the economic downturn. In fact that house has been in a dilapidated state for almost 20 years and is almost unsalvageable, which is unfortunate for that neighborhood in its own right.
I find my new home city, Seattle, very prosperous and the citizens work for common welfare, not to separate themselves to flaunt their freedom.
If this is what class warfare looks like, it looks like the wealthy won. The yahoos will still vote for the GOP'er, to their own detriment and against their own best interests.

"Move to higher ground if water is approaching"? Really, we're not new to this flooding thing.
Then please explain why we kept seeing cars driving through areas they shouldn't have the other day and CSFD routinely has to perform water rescues during flooding.
Some might say that the Organizers of the Pikes Peak Marathon and Ascent are interfering with the incline enthusiasts.
The BLM will rubber stamp anything Fort Cartoon wants to do in spite of crashing on Almagre which could start a fire that burns the town to the ground. When the Broadmoor promotes LAMEborn it's Anschutz telling us how to vote and when the GAGzette tries a paywall for people to comment it's more cowardice to stop the critics after they tried facebook login and found that many more critics had a facebook account than the violent shills that ruined their comment section. They actually had a policy that no groups could comment even if they had a facebook page and CSaction was the only group commenting. Cowards afraid of the truth.
The problem with attracting companies through tax breaks, is other cities offering bigger tax breaks to pull them away. The race to the bottom is a losing proposition.
One of the biggest problems with the Colorado Springs economy is having all of its eggs in the DOD basket. War is not a jobs program. Eventually, every war comes to an end and the soldiers go home. Colorado Springs acted like the defense spending would never end and expanded way beyond its means.
The Army pay range is from the official site and is what the base told us to use. But that's interesting and I'll keep it in mind. There was certainly no intention to mislead anyone.

I live in Stratton Meadows, and I consider myself to be part of the fastest growing class, the working poor. My husband and I are both educated and employed. While our salaries have remained flat for the past few years, we struggle to find better career opportunities. We barely make ends meet, but least we have a nice view.
"E1-E4, with less than two years' experience, make between $18,378 and $23,994 annually."
This is misleading, hopefully not intentionally. Only an E1-E4 who lives on post and does not have to pay for rent or groceries makes this little. Housing and subsistence allowances, which are income tax free, double the take home pay of the E1-E4 troops, thus moving them above the poverty line. It is misleading to quote only base pay when discussing military compensation.
This sounds like another rubber stamp procedure masquerading as an independent study.
Colorado Springs is a beautiful city, but businesses don't care how beautiful a city is. They want tax breaks and infrastructure. It's a shame that the city planners are so incompetent as to mismanage economic growth. At one time MCI was one of the largest employers with high tech salaries. The city had HP, Agilent, Intel, MCI, and several IT contract companies that provided benefits and high income jobs. Now it has very little in the area of supportable incomes, but at least you can get a Starbucks at the mall.
