Re: “God Bless the Child

My only Son was taken away from ne when he was eight years old by the Colorado Sorings Judicial System, corrupt GAL, Attorneys abd Judges! This happened in 1992! After my Son returned from visiting his Father fir the Summer, he had nightmares and tried to molest the neighbor girl! Thus happened when he was 5! I took him to a counselor and he disclosed to her that horrible things that his father and new girlfriend had done to him! The GAL Marcy Gouge convinced the judge that i had brain washed my child! I lost custody and they sent my Son to live with his Father permanently! I was never proven to have harmed my child in anyway! I fled with him to protect him but was caught two years later and charged with Felony Kidnapping of my own child! He is 30 years old now! He doesn't work, he uses drugs and he is terrified to leave! DHS destroyed my entire family to line their pockets with money! I need an attorney with guts! I want to sue each person involved, dhs, el paso county and the City! Because now my son can tell the story as an aadult. I was unaware that this injustice wad still occuring here! I though it was just those people that were involved then!

Re: “Ballot issues in Colorado Springs city election

Tannim

Considering CSF is attempting to exercise influence they might not really possess, and the rather inept handling that Cassiana and Lane provided in their initial failure - would it not make sense to vote for the measure to increase the votes required for sale of portions of Colorado Springs Utilities up from a simple majority vote to one requiring 60% voter approval?

Re: “'Guys, I'm going through something here'

My name is Jessica and I went to school with Dee. She was one of my best friends. I am truely sorry for what has happened not only to Dee but also her family. My heart to this day is filled with sadness, over losing a great and beautiful friend that I have ever known. She would give you the shirt off her back if ever you needed anything. Always had a wonderful smile on your face. Dee will always be in my heart and greatly missed. Friends 4ever, Jessica

a fine of $500? My god - this city can't take a step in the right direction without two in the wrong.

Re: “Ballot issues in Colorado Springs city election

The Parks are worth " hundreds of millions " ... But we won't spend to adequately maintain them or acquire them ( BTW when is Corral Bluffs gonna open ? Years and years in planning and press releases .... )

Re: “Downtown Colorado Springs on a roll

"Nationally, trends show more people want to live and work in an urban environment. With our cost of living and proximity to the outdoors, Downtown Colorado Springs is perfectly poised for this growth."

Except Colorado Springs isn't very urban, so stating that it is 'perfectly poised', is a bit of a stretch.

Re: “Hickenlooper: Mentally ill shouldn't go to jail

What does the governor or a police officer know about brain disorders, medications and diagnosing a patient? Anyone who self-medicates can wind up in prison very easily except the law calls it "drug abuse". The agency that runs the medical industry is not made up of physicians but rather DEA agents. Every doctor that writes prescriptions to patients must pay a yearly fee to the DEA for a permit. Many cannot get medications because doctors are in fear of the DEA. In fact most people in this country fear law enforcement and the court system and that is not a healthy situation but the War on Drugs must continue. We must not have negative thoughts either the story states and it has been stated over and over since the 1970's self-help book craze. That it is completely wrong is something quack therapists and hippie mystics cannot admit.
Also there is no such thing as "mental illness". Where or what is your mental? How does it become ill???

The governor is trying to avert attention away from the continuous sub-standard treatment of inmates and especially now with the Fremont County Sheriff's blatant disregard for prisoners and the private for-profit company that enables abuse at his jail. Now that an inmate who could not make bail, was not convicted of any crime yet was imprisoned then denied his medication ( Klonopin) and ended up dead. The private company stated the jail is a "narcotic free zone". Klonopin is for anxiety is not a narcotic it is a benzodiazepine. But to supply an inmate with anything is a profit loss. Stopping any benzodiazepine causes withdrawals and apparently as with the deceased inmate it also causes contusions and numerous broken ribs. The Sheriff did not order an investigation of the death and now the Federal government is taking it to trial and likely the sheriff will become an inmate.

This is all stemming from the amateurish antics of the untrained spewing out their ignorance of medicine. Right here we were told how anxiety is "cured" by "no more negative thoughts" and painting pictures! How dare you print such rubbish! Talk about stigmatizing something! How about focusing on your readership which is the left and their anger issues and their being in denial? Which by the way, anger is a normal human emotion and how it has become almost a crime can be traced right back to the "for profit = kickback" court system which touts itself as the best in the world-sentencing people to bogus anger management classes. Again utter claptrap but people are believing it because it is repeated often enough.

Try researching before writing and if not then write about sidewalks or write how to write about sidewalks. Or perhaps take a lesson from Hazelhurst who can write about anything as long as it involves mentioning his house on the West Side. He might write as though his brain is abnormal but his diagnosis no doubt will be alcoholism, a.k.a. "self-medicating". Oh yeah, it is okay to be negative about Doug Bruce for decades right?

Re: “District looking for answers after failure of bond, MLO

Of course it all got voted down. They use the money to pay attorneys to attack innocent people and threaten them with harassment so they won't ask anymore question.

I have a FERPA investigation ongoing against d11. D11 is a joke when it comes to student privacy and student safety. When there is a real problem they stick their heads in the sand and hope it will just go away.

D-11 talks a good talk on student privacy but fails in the execution of actually doing it.

while they're fighting to lead this social club, maybe someone should form a separate organization to work to elect Democrats to office?

Re: “PPACG executive and senior staff on indefinite leave

Not a surprise. I worked there for 5 years as lead ombudsman. I told Rob MacDonald that a current supervisor told me "I wasn't as smart as a man" and gave me a bad review and denied a raise, after 5 years of incredible reviews. Rob did nothing and I had to contact lawyers for what i deemed sexism. The Administration here is awful.

Re: “Wommack's pathway to prominence

I am so thankful for Andrew Wommack and his boldness to speak the truth in love. I listen to him daily and I do not pay a thing for it. Having said that, I tithe to my local church...but I am being led to give offerings to this awesome ministry that God is blessing so obviously. I totally believe his testimonies about supernatural provision such as gas in his tank. I have had miracles such as this myself. But then, I believe God's Word and it operates by our faith. I know that is challenging for you that don"t live by faith but you will have to take that up with God. He is your real issue here, not Andrew. God Bless this ministry in 2017 as I know He is. We love you Andrew.

Re: “Zabel, Johnson in unlikely battle for El Paso County Democratic party chair

Did I really just read that a candidate doesn't know a "damn" thing about politics and thinks book groups are how to raise money for the party? Wow... The amount of work that needs to be done to activate the middle of the party is staggering. Dems lost the presidential race at least in part because the voice of the left fringe is so loud that us in the middle of the road are completely left out of the conversation. We need a party leader who has proven skills to lead and find common ground for us all to unite around -- someone who knows something about politics and does not wear her ignorance proudly on her sleeve...
