Re: “Local pot pioneer wants out, Springs cannabis comic fest debuts and more

OOPS, Before we started Cannabis Therapeutics, it was, from the HEART, about patient care. WE gathered Colorado's BEST doctors, Lawyers, Caregivers, and Patients for Development of a Compassionate Care based reasonable access offering to patients.

What we have seen in years subsequent is: Perversion, Pollution, Distortion, Over-Regulation, and Greed Driven solutions, none of which Benefit REAL patients or their cause~~ alternatives for non-synthetic prescription narcotic drugs!!

Although, I walked away from Michael Lee's operation numerous years ago, I Totally Agree with him that monetary interests in the 'Wild West' of politics, have been allowed to FEED long a d HARD in the 'lil piggie' troughs of GREED, so sad, really.

Here is Just a Glimpse at the MADNESS, currently a part of the Rocky Mountain Cannabis Landscape:

A New Day Today, But NO Response from DPA? Oh, ART WAY did change the identity of his posting to Anonymous, SO MANY, that IS his response. His original posting tone, sounded like he WAS speaking as head of the organization.......apparently NOT!

Drug Policy Alliance Blog 'HEATS UP'!…

My Comment:
While I thank you for the opportunity to Dialogue, Art Way, I am from the reality of the fact that you have literally had Zero Interest in engaging with patient-based interests, for numerous years. Nope, Sensible Colorado doesn't count, as, first off, they are NOT about patient's interests and issues at all, having proved that in recent years, but, historically, lending a deaf ear to those individual patients in legal trouble with comments like, "your case doesn't really fit the scope of our practice", or other such nonsense, as numerous NORML Lawyers have been known to do in the past.
So, here you are, separating Industry issues from patient issues, all the While feeding your own organizations money troth with New Cannabis Industry Monies, all the while, refusing to allow patients the opportunity to be able to afford hundreds of dollars of 'reduced rate' options to attend your conferences, AND Have their interests and voices heard.

So, line 'em up, Sensible Sucks, Norml Sucks, NCIA Sucks, ASA SUCKS, as shown by the "Coloradans for Safe Access" caregiver steering fiasco that pulled them OUT of the Rocky Mountain State Completely, and others. Oops, Sensible did help One highly publicized politically charged patient case or two, one patient 'helped' compared to how many hundred thousand patients now. Right, fund raising IS important! It can help Fund a new East Coast Cannabis Law Practice, after all, aye? Another proud association you've maintained over how many years?

You've listened to Them ALL, Art Way, except you have NEVER listened to the whole host of Important Patient Issues, but, it is now time to MAN UP?

I have about the same, or similar, level of the lack of RESPECT I have for Soros 'Bought & Paid For' Intern Womanizer Rob Kampia of the Other Dastardly Organization, MPP Marijuana Policy Project. Since the numerous lawsuits for inappropriate sexual office activities, Kampia was RUN out of Washington, D.C., Only to Come Here to a new Denver lifestyle of respect for women and the Importance of a new industry development to Glob on to, you think? Come on, Art Way, how often do you two get together for a real patient-centric dialogue? NOT.

Instead, let me tell you from the outside, it IS ALL about the MONEY! Have you asked, EVER, of your constituents, legislative contacts, and Lobbyists, alike, to dialogue about the continual perpetuation of Five Plus Felonies on the books in Colorado still, involving marijuana that Robert Chase speaks so tirelessly about? DRUG POLICY, nawh. Cricket chirping, or, might you come back with the Old Tired Line about 'Baby Steps' that was overused by Tvert and Company for years, as you stood in the Background for support?

REALITY TIME, since this is getting old, the NEW news is, Let me spell it M-O-N-S-A-N-T-O influences. What say you about the current industry state of affairs with your friends at River Rock Wellness? And, let's digress to the idea of 'Shake' cannabis with No Buds in Connecticut, for, what nurse Eileen calls "pharmaceutical standards" to insure batch consistence, huh?

Do "I" NEED to Challenge you to a Large Public Forum DEBATE, so we can see just how distorted by GREED and MONEY INFLUENCES your DPA philosophies have gone?
Surely, you can't be against a dialogue of Transparency to identify exactly where DPA is at with these concerns~~ GMO MARIJUANA, etc.

We can Do it at a venue some night like Quixotes, so people can come out for Charity. Not like Denver Relief's non-existent Light Bulb donation to Boulder Flood Victim kind of 'Charity', but split up amongst legitimate non-profits like the Phoenix Tears Foundation, to help Kill Cancer with Cannabis, ok? What have you got to lose at this juncture, caught in bed with the Corporate Slugs, or can YOU Rise Above, in a Legitimate DRUG POLICY DEBATE! Industry, Government, and Science VS. individual Patient Interests, Alternative Naturopathic Therapies, and Home-Based Medicine.

Ground up Shake or Pharmaceutical Standards, YOU Decide?…
Something Disturbing to me about that Headline in Last Night's WESTWORD Post!

"Cannabis leaders of the future: Murphy Murri" --…

Especially weird Since I have a Long Well Known Statewide History with Medical Cannabis, second facility in the State Cannabis Therapeutics, etc. Knew Both Rev. Jeremy and Jenny Kush, but don't recall her, sorry.
Is She Another Media Darling the Corporate Paid Off THUGS of the current traditional media want to showcase? With so many State Licensed business interests, is she like River Rock's Wellness, and, obviously intertwined 'hidden' financial interests with Big Money MONSANTO type interests using figureheads?

Colorado Rare Dankness Seed Announces NO LONGER working with River Rock Wellness
This evening's Facebook Posting from
RareDankness Seed
Effective immediately Rare Dankness seed will no longer be working with River Rock Wellness or any of its affiliates.
We at a Rare Dankness hold no animosity to the owners/employees or patients of RRW. I believe, that at this time, our companies philosophies and goals are headed on opposite paths.
My goal and hope has always been freedom for this plant. I want to see Cannabis legalized, decriminalized, and just allowed to exist as any other plant exists. Free from oppression, and available to everyone. I'm a grower and my commitment will always be to the grower.
I realized that in order to maintain our course and commitment to this plant will require RD to take fuller control of all aspects of production.
From seed to harvest, breeding and mother facilities and curing time on flowers. It has become an obsession to bring back herb that has been grown to perfection and taken a step beyond perfection with a proper cure and handled with love and respect.
We are now in the process of finalizing the new Rare Dankness Colorado home, which we are very excited about. We will make that announcement in the next few weeks.

I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND your Reasoning!! I Mean, if River Rock wouldn't have hired a 40 year Monsanto Exec
was also sued for $700 Million for dumping PCB's, as a Savvy Business Person, I would Want to Dis-Associate, also!…

Re: “Council delays recreational-marijuana decision, New York gains MMJ and more

Council people and the mayor of Colorado Springs are dumb, they are letting valuable tax revenue leave the county in favor of a home with their neighbors to the south in Pueblo county.

Re: “City comes back for Studio A64, state regulators go to work for MJ industry, and more

This establishment is my next door neighbor. My tattoo shop is right next to them. I have never had any problems whatsoever with any of the people that go here. They are quiet, perfect neighbors. I don't consume MJ in any form, but that's my personal choice. I believe others should be able to choose to smoke or ingest MJ in this club. They are doing no harm to anyone whatsoever. Leave them alone! The city would be spending their time and money more wisely were they to help some of the homeless on the streets downtown. These poor people really do need help. K.C Stark is a great neighbor and a cool guy.

Re: “City comes back for Studio A64, state regulators go to work for MJ industry, and more

Studio A64 is following all rules and codes as stated. The notion that "most" establishments are used for a certain purpose does not reign as a valid violation. What is exactly being violated here? I feel a social club that is in great standing with the owner. The owner even came to city hall to testify of how great a tenant K.C. Stark has been and how the police have never been called on Studio A64 and that there have never been any complaints. Studio A64 is a cultural establishment in Colorado Springs that is a treasure. There will be plenty of voices there to testify to that.

Studio A64 based our foundation on American history. From the Bill of Rights to Private Property Rights. From the Founding fathers principles of life and liberty, to no taxation without representation, from Amendments 20 and Amendment 64. We are Americans. Not AmeriCan'ts. Join us.

Re: “City comes back for Studio A64, state regulators go to work for MJ industry, and more

A itsy bitsy fact of American history. Who would have known?

"The Elks had modest beginnings in 1868 as a social club (then called the "Jolly Corks") established as a private club to elude New York City laws governing the opening hours of public taverns."

I am glad that A64 club won its designation as a private social club and can stay open...I wish the governor would have spent the money on more substantial things our state needs but it's a start

Fortunately the "over 65" disapprovers are dying off.

Also, if I were a MJ business person, I would use the logo and tell the state to gfys. A nice court challenge or two is what they need to set them straight.

Re: “No logo for you, old-young split on pot rep and County Board of Health says weed and school don't mix

I guess Hemp and Hemp Products as supported by the new Farm Bill do not get to use the logo and program either? What about businesses that get busted for Federal law violations? EPA, Labor, Safety...Do they automatically get excluded and the list updated? This might be an interesting lawsuit, news story follow-up and public interest story.

Does the health board of El Paso have scientific proof with a preponderance of evidence of what they just published as fact without public meetings on the subject? Do they understand and why are they not publishing the same as alcohol standard of basis and also the UNDER 21 standards of practice? The basis of what they did with this is very legally suspect if someone proves standing if not pure constitutional in core basis.

I was called and told to take the new logo down from my web site...because of the word "cannabis!" I said, "Gladly!" I have had 500 people come from other states and visit, paying all the "tourist" taxes! …Shine A Light

Re: “Colorado travel stats, cannabis in Vegas and more from Obama on pot

Gurordori, the current drug testing methods are really messed up, especially in a state where people have MMJ, leaving the RMJ issue alone. I think that will change sooner rather than later. As for the no-knock thing -- yeah, that hasn't been working out too well lately. That needs to go too.

Posted by Judith Posch on 02/11/2014 at 5:34 PM

Re: “Colorado travel stats, cannabis in Vegas and more from Obama on pot

RMJ & MMJ are still a Schedule I Narcotic just so the feds have the right to NO KNOCK and break down the door of ANY citizen in the USA with probable cause as an excuse.

It also prevents updating of employment laws like the one on my job where even MMJ patients can be fired just for not passing a drug test and using during work hours, but if I am arrested for DWI with alcohol, my job doesn't have the right to fire me because there is a law against firing someone just cause they got arrested.

"First of all, [deciding] what is and isn't a Schedule I narcotic is a job for Congress," Funny, in a sensible world that would be job of scientists. Pot is not a narcon.

I hope Medical-marijuana patient Bob Crouse gets $$$ from the city for what DA May put him thru with the bogus arrest and mistreatment of his MMJ plants. Maybe now the city will take us MMJ patients more seriously with how they treat us according to the COLORADO STATE LAW!
