Sorry, Bert. Fixed it online, and will mention it in next week's column.
Green Acres! Where's ARNOLD ZIFFLE!?
Just a suggestion. How about sorting these by location. Colorado Springs and area, Denver, etc. It would make it a lot easier for people.
Looks like I forgot to remind you about the "I can't wait for Halloween" party at the Zodiac on October 30th. It will feature prizes from the leechpit, zeezo's and ivywild costumes. It will also feature a Dj set from Animus Invidious (spinning spooky nerdy tunes), two sets of original CM3 music plus a set of all star wars material! Guest musicians will feature: Benjamin Pratt, DJ Gravity, Grant Sabin, Qiana Glaze (of Gaia Experiment), Jason Davis (of Gaia Experiment and Red Shirt), Bob Braidwood (of Cous and the Bluez Knightz), Tim Briggs, Frank G (of Soco), Madtrees and possibly more. Hope to see you there, Bill!
FYI... Cannibal Creeps not Cannibal Corpse.
Thanks, Damian. And while you're at it, you can read our Rev. Peyton interview at http://www.csindy.com/colorado/patton-pend…
See mike Clark Sunday night with Rev. Peyton's Big Damned band and Austin Lucas at the Black Sheep!
that might be tough, since Chris 'Tall City' Bullock is moving away Monday! I wonder who will play keyboard at the Black Sheep show?
Come to the Triple Nickel on Saturday for some Denver Psychobilly the Royal Dead and locals The Cannibal Creeps!
You gotta see this new hot band!! From Slaves to Kings... Rock the way it should be!! I saw them at Union Station in Colorado Springs! AWESOME!!
I didn't say it was closed, I said it was dead. Now, 'The Gig' was the place to see new acts of promise but sadly it did close. But the Whiskey? (feel free to smack YOUR spell checker here) Naaaaaa....
Actually DanceDancer, the club has bands every night of the week. Try spelling it correctly when you search (no "e") or just go to http://www.whiskyagogo.com/site/
Uh, the Whiskey has been dead for at least 10 years...
While Spotify has been useful in listening to new artists/music before making a decision to buy, I don't like (a) the necessity of having a wifi hookup to listen and (b) not actually "owning" a copy of the song. What can I say, I'm old school. The ads don't bother me so much--I grew up on AM radio!--but my concern is for the artists getting their due (which is why file-sharing is something I don't do).
Thanks for the inclusion of CD Baby in your article! We are very excited that independent artist are included in the US release of Spotify. It's going to be interesting to see what impact the arrival of Spotify has on the music industry in the US.
Kevin at CD Baby

They're coming to Boulder on 8/12/11 and Arvada on 8/13. www.jjgrey.com/tour
I have seen Godsmack so many times and can't get enough. People who talk smack about Godsmack cannot appreciate Real musical talent. Sully is the ultimate musician who can play every instrument and write and compose great music as he showed with Avalon. Will be seeing them tomorrow at Mayhem Fest....cannot wait!!!!
Re: “Big gigs”
You forgot to list Trans-Siberian Orchestra with two shows on 14 Dec at World Arena.
