Love hearing about semi-obscure musicians playing 70 miles away. Very helpful.

Re: “The band that got away

Very well put...Peppi was a personal friend. Not a mean bone in his body. Always supported local musicians, and would do anything for a cause.

Re: “The ReMINDers return home

There are many ways to show incompetency with journalism and show that the writer has no clue what he's talkimg about, but one of them is to confuse Aleister Crowley with Anton LaVey.

Re: “The ReMINDers return home

Just to correct an error
There are many potential routes to stardom, and one of them is to make a video of yourself serenading a maniacally grinning Pee-wee Herman doll who's perched over a copy of Church of Satan founder Aleister Crowley's The Book of Lies.

You mean Anton LaVey? Crowley founded Thelema

Re: “The ReMINDers return home

Aleister Crowley didn't found the Church of Satan. Anton LaVey did. Aleister Crowley had nothing to do with the Church of Satan.

Re: “Strange Alliance

Why would I pay $22 to see someone that doesn't even have a torrent of their music online? I can't find anywhere to listen to his music to see if I would WANT to go...

Re: “Rock of ages

Re: “Less Nazis, more CSN

Thanks to those who came out for the Community Radio Launch Party, and to those who pitched in to help us raise nearly $10,000 to make community radio a long-term reality for Colorado Springs. The party was jam-packed and the music was awesome. Look for original, local programs to slowly find their way onto our schedule (slowly, because we have to divide our attention and keep trying to raise the rest of the funds needed). Tomorrow is going to be All-Meadowgrass Saturday on KCMJ, with encore performances from past Meadowgrass Music Festivals all day.

Re: “Rock of ages

Our band, The Seeds played several concerts at the Auditorium. Our agent was Micky Jolsen who did work at Miller Music. We bought lots of equipment there ... I still have most of it. What happened to Frank, Micky and the store?

Re: “Joe Ely, Blonde Redhead, and Johnny Winter

Joe Ely did the recordings with his brother, Mark a computer genius. It was re-released in honor of Mark.
