Re: “Bare-bones beneficence

The French Kitchen also offers cooking classes. We teach French home cooking in a cozy atmosphere, just like in your home. Classes are hands on, 6 students maximum and you always take a lot of food home. They are taught by a French mom who is very organized and who will give you all the tricks she can to save time. Our most popular one : BREAD!
Check our list of classes we offer here:

Re: “Pugs, pipes and plate armor

The Old West Cigar Shop listed here has a limited inventory and is a cigarette smoke filled stuffy little store that sometimes seems closed with the door left open...needs cleaning, needs moldy cigars thrown out, and a couple of light fixtures.

Fortunately there is a new store on North Nevada in the center with Shelton's Luncheonette that is clean, fresh, humidy rightly controlled to prevent moldy cigars...with a lovely selection and they actually know cigars, not cigarettes.

Is the snow jacking your last minute shopping? Order a Random Object Leechpit Card and turn any object in your house into a Leechpit gift card. Just stick it in a box and let the jokes ensue! Order at and have the store credit on file instantly! Take that snow!

Re: “Indy's last-minute Gift Guide

For 2010 we need the Year of the American Gift.

Birthday and holiday gift buying in 2010 are wonderful opportunities to support the American economy and get our neighbors working again. American consumers are two-thirds of the US economy. Imagine the job creation in 2010 if Americans bought American artisan jewelry instead of imported gifts. A gift certificate for a favorite restaurant also keeps the dollars circulating in the USA. You get the idea.

Let’s make a New Year’s resolution together as a nation. A resolution that gets Americans back to work and grows our economy. Let’s all make 2010 the Year of the American Gift.
