The Broadmoor has been applying massive amounts of grease for the last six months to make sure its plan to screw the neighbors goes thru without a hitch. Why do you think Anschutz' minions spent a small fortune to elect Keith King to Council? Citizens ought to ask little Stevie Bach why he doesn't have an opinion and yet thinks that "This is going to be a very thorough process?" What a weasel.

the loopy one. "after all we're only human, anyone can make a mistake". comments by the loopy one about the fire his arson squad started that ended the lives of two elderly persons. resulting in no jail time or job loss. the drinking of "fracking fluid" to prove it's harmlessness. after the drinking of his own beer, how could anyone tell? when one sits back and looks at the "accomplishments" of the loopy one, one can only hope and pray someone steps up and replaces this fool.

I should add, it is perfectly fine to be liberal, especially for the "underground" paper in every city. It is kind of your job. However, unlike Westword (Denver) who celebrates their liberalism and has fun with it, you guys think you actually do serious work. Here's the rub: you can't have it both ways. If you want to do serious work, you have to be fair. Otherwise, it is simply a very poor joke.

This is completely outrageous and I hope everyone rises upo against this injuststic- a company follows the already-murky rules of selling marijuana and the police bust them and talk anout 16 yrs in prision or life in jail? They didnt even do anything wron except break a few minor laws regarding the sale of pot and they are chargedn with the sme crimes as someone who rapes or kill THIS IS INJUSTICE!!

TT -- Wow, you are a real piece of work! Like I said earlier, I think you would be surprised at the true demographics of the pot-using communities (medical and recreational). Perhaps you should pull your head out long enough to take a good look around and get a grasp on some reality. Considering that you've shared your imaginative picture of me, I think I'll share mine of you: An overweight, unhealthy, friendless slob, slouched in front of computer day and night with nothing better to do than to try to jazz up those of us who actually try to have an educated, open-minded, and civil discourse on a myriad of current-day topics.

happyfew: If removing Morse is not the will of the majority, then he will keep his job. He only won because the Libertarian split the opposition vote. Remember, the majority of Colorado district 11 voters voted against Morse in the last election. There is a difference between plurality and majority. Morse should have kept that in mind when casting his votes on issues, and he should have been more moderate in his push for the Democrat agenda. Background checks probably would have been OK to most voters, but his "liability bill" went way too far, and his arrogant attitude just added fuel the fire.
