LMAO!!!- Ky. Gov. Claims Marriage Equality Threatens Birth Rates, Economy

In appealing a February ruling that struck down Kentucky's ban on marriage equality, lawyers for the state claim that allowing same-sex couples to marry would cripple the state's economy, since those couples can't procreate.

Guru...Anderson Cooper has a portrait of his mother over his bed...and rarely leaves NY. Do you really think that is a mind worth exploring for truth?

ANOTHER LYER LYER YOUR PANTS ARE ON FIRE: Op-ed: Is Megyn Kelly Helping Homophobes?

Though Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly has been deemed a voice of reason on the network, she's also giving a platform to professional anti-LGBT activists.

Megyn Kelly was supposed to be a harbinger of the Fox News Channel's "gay rights revolution," but she's used her prime-time spot to enable some of the country's most extreme anti-LGBT activists.

During his segment, Hooper urged Kelly to hold Perkins accountable for his extensive history of bigoted rhetoric. "What specifically? Because I'll ask him," Kelly promised. Hooper pointed to Perkins's endorsement of a Ugandan bill that would have imposed the death penalty for homosexuality, his claim that gay people face "eternal damnation," and his comparisons of gay people with terrorists.

In the segment that followed, however, Kelly didn't ask Perkins to explain his virulent antigay rhetoric. Instead, she introduced him as the leader of "a group whose mission is to advance faith, family, and freedom in public policy and culture from a Christian worldview"

Legal fights over gay marriage spread across US

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — A federal lawsuit filed by four gay couples in Montana leaves just two states — North Dakota and South Dakota — with gay marriage bans and no legal challenges aiming to overturn them. But that's likely to change as same-sex marriage advocates there gear up for a fight.

State marriage bans have been falling around the country since the U.S. Supreme Court last year struck down part of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. Now, in 29 states, judges are being asked whether gays should have the right to marry.

Hey, TT. What are you going to do when Marriage Equality comes to Colorado? I sure do hope you don't run out and divorce your wife of many years for a younger MAN. LMAO!

Anderson Cooper Responds To News Anchor Who Stormed Off Over Michael Sam Kiss
The Huffington Post | by Katherine Fung

• Anderson Cooper put Dallas anchor Amy Kushnir on the Ridiculist Monday night over the way she reacted to Michael Sam's kiss with his boyfriend.

• During a recent debate with her co-hosts, Kushnir argued that it was inappropriate for ESPN to broadcast the kiss in front of children, and ended up storming off the set. She said that ESPN would not have aired a football player kissing his wife or girlfriend, and if they had, she would have said, "get a room!"

• Cooper mocked Kushnir on Monday, airing a segment in which she kissed two male strippers. He acknowledged that "a lot of people" share Kushnir's opposition to Sam's kiss, but said that her argument was just disingenuous. He continued:

• "To Amy Kushnir's argument that nobody shows football players kissing their wives or girlfriends, that's simply not true and I don't think she's being honest when she wouldn't want to see that either or she yells 'Get a room' whenever she sees that. If you're uncomfortable seeing some kind of affection... why not just say that and leave the excuses about why you're uncomfortable where they belong: on 'The Ridiculist.'"

IT'S ALL GOOD, TT. AT LEASE I DON'T "BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST MY NEIGHBOR" BY PASSING OUT LIES ABOUT OTHER TO PROVE MY POINT!

Hice cites this passage to show what is at stake in the battle for America's soul. "These shocking words by Michael Swift have been considered part of the 'gay manifesto' by many, and reveal the radical agenda that is currently threatening our nation," he writes.

There is one hiccup. Hice omitted first sentence of Swift's column, which noted that the entire essay was satirical.

GOP House Candidate: There's a Gay Plot to Recruit and Sodomize Your Kids
Think Rep. Paul Broun is out there? Meet his possible successor, Jody Hice. By Tim Murphy May 21,

In his seven years in Congress, Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) distinguished himself by calling biology "lies straight from the pit of hell" and accusing President Barack Obama of establishing a secret national police force to push a Marxist dictatorship. But the man who may replace Broun in Washington could outdo him.

In a 2012 book, that candidate—pastor and talk radio host Jody Hice—alleges the gay community has a secret plot to recruit and sodomize children. In It's Now or Never: A Call to Reclaim America, Hice also asserts that supporters of abortion rights are worse than Hitler and compares gay relationships to bestiality and incest. He proposes that Muslims be stripped of their First Amendment rights.

On Tuesday, Hice clinched a spot in the runoff to replace Broun, who declined to run for re-election in order to run for Senate. Hice will face businessman Michael Collins in the July 22 runoff. In a district that gave 62 percent of the vote to Mitt Romney two years ago, Hice, the leading vote-getter in the first round of balloting, stands a good chance of being elected to Congress.

Re: “A Mother's Day wish

So Guru...yes, it is better than being dead to have two mommies...interesting that you would make such a low bar comparison.

It is also true it is far better than that to a mommy and a daddy living under the same roof with you.

Re: “A Mother's Day wish

Keith...would you call that the side of the downfall of history? Let me reply for Keith, TT. Is this the “downfall of history?” I believe he stated it wasn’t.

Would having two moms or two dads that can marry each other in a commitment ceremony be a positive aspect in a child's life? I would definitely have to say, Yes, TT, it is, even though I know you believe contrary to this fact. I know you would say that we recruit others to the Gay side of life by indoctrination and that being a parent would teach a child to be gay, but I believe there is enough research out there that would prove otherwise. Remembering that gay people most likely came from straight parents, we weren’t made gay but born gay. Would it be better than having two straight parents, the experts say, No, it is not any better or worse. We are not immoral just because we are gay, and every family is different and has its own family issues.

Like the 14 year old black boy who was in foster care for more than 10 years since his birth mother was a drug addict, he went to a church and stood on the alter and begged for any family to adopt him, be it White, Black, Yellow, Brown, Green or Purple, he didn’t care, he just wants a family of his own.

Is being born better than not being born, I would have to say, Yes, TT, it is good to be alive, especially in a family regardless if they are same-sex partners where the child will be loved, cared for and nurtured. Is it better than being an orphan, in foster care, or being born in a different country with a different economic situation and opportunities in life, most definitely it is. I still think being born in America is a better alternative than being born in many other countries out there, especially when you can be forced into child labor or prostitution.

But the USA is not an exception for the plagues of society, just like every other country, not enough is being done to protect our children from predators who would do the unspeakable to children, like the man in a maroon and gold trim pick-up that we have trolling our streets looking for his next victim. Maybe we can work together to help society to protect them.

Re: “A Mother's Day wish

Thank you!!! There is no good reason to deny that we must keep evolving until an adult, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, monogamy or polyamory, race, or religion is free to marry any and all consenting adults. The limited same-gender freedom to marry is a great and historic step, but is NOT full marriage equality, because equality "just for some" is not equality. Let's stand up for EVERY ADULT'S right to marry the person(s) they love. Get on the right side of history!

Re: “Wake up and smell the weed

...and the industry pushes forward like a steamroller. There are already companies that specialize in supporting the new industry like http://yourgreencontractor.com. They build green facilities in Colorado for growing it and dispensaries to sell it. The entire scenario looks to be an economic boost like the marijuana-specific tourism companies that are also sprouting up.

Re: “Wake up and smell the weed

Bach is going to have a short run, along with the council members that stated that they would "support the will of the voters" in regards to marijuana. They have failed to uphold their pre election commitments and are now holding a ticket for the next bus out of office.

Us... the voting majority, will certainly remember Bach's attitude toward cannabis and the community in general, there will be NO second term. City Council…you're next.
