Get real people. The author of this article obviously didn't do any research. The official Colorado lottery website has always contained the remaining prizes available for every scratch game. Login to www.coloradolottery.com, click on Scratch Games, and choose Prizes Remaining. If you really were playing the scratch games to win the top prize you would only buy those games with top prizes remaining. Most people play scratch tickets for fun and would be happy winning $20. If you dont like scratch tickets dont buy them.
I've played the Lottery off and on $5-$10 per month for years. Today I started researching the various scratch type games and the more I read aobut each, I began to wonder whether Colorado Lottery might be selling tickets after a grand prize had been awarded.
I Googled "odds playing colorado scratch games" and low and behold.........your great investigative article came up.
I'm not the brightest light bulb in the house but do have a business background and it seemed only prudent to learn more. It is disappointing to personally know folks who can't really afford to play the lottery.........are getting duped. Many of these good folks are indentured to the hope of winning something over and above their wages to just make their life a little better. Everyone can dream a little! "WHAT IF?"
SHAME ON THE COLORADO LOTTERY! GOVERNOR BILL RITTER SHOULD STEP UP TO THE PITCHER'S MOUND AND STRIKE OUT THIS DISGUSTING DISCEPTION PERPETRATED ON THE WORKING FOLKS OF COLORADO.
A vast majority of his party's constituency are great hard working families. It should be his responsiblity to inform all Coloradoans of this outright deciept on trusting citizens and guest of Colorado.

To clarify, there is no conflict of interest in my article. I was never, at any point in the past, present or future, a student of Barton's.
wtf, She's not a student of his. Get your facts straight
I viewed these installations and thought they were wonderful. For this "reporter" to call Marsh's and Laine's work tame and boring says more about Adelstein than it does about the artists' work. Adelstein is an obviously biased person and I wondered why until I learned that she is a student of Barton. What the heck do we expect from someone who is beholden to Barton? Now, let's be fair here. At the very least, this should have been disclosed in the article and, not to do so, demonstrates the "reporter's" lack of experience and lack of maturity and ethics. What ever happened to fair and unbiased journalism?? Clearly, Adelstein does not understand these two standards.
This review is the opposite of my impression of the installations in Altered Space. I enjoyed Matt Barton's campsite scene and it was certainly the most immediately gratifying of the three, but I wonder whether even Mr. Barton would appreciate his work being described as "charming and silly." To dismiss the installations by Ms. Marsh and Ms. Laine as 'boring' is just lazy. The reviewer was apparently in too much of a hurry to really LOOK and didn't take adequate time to understand what she was writing about, yet it gets published anyway. To the reader: try finding a quiet day during the week and actually spend some time in each space, looking and experiencing, questioning, and I doubt you will come up with the superficial impression written here.
