Re: “Trump's pick for Interior no friend of America's parks, nonprofits say

That's what the people wanted; that's what they're going to get. They obviously wanted a loose-lipped insane man with no filter who is a sexual predator; dirty air and water, more earthquakes, control over women's bodies, continued wage inequality for women, more hate crimes, divisiveness, lower wages, and more money for Drumpf; never mind those pesky conflicts of interest. He has a "work around" for all nasty business.God forbid he SERVE the people and not serve HIMSELF! The list just goes on and on, and his Cabinet picks prove his ineptness. Where's all that "diversity"? All I see are a bunch of white Generals, who know nothing but WAR, and how to wage it. That's NOT real life.

Re: “UPDATE: AFA coach's tweets spur demand for investigation

Not ALL of the military has a "long History of ethical and spiritual loyalty to God." I have a personally long history (over 25 years) of loyalty to support and defend the Constitution of the United States--that's the oath I took. When I've faced "America's enemies" (and yes, I've been 'shot at' more than once), I didn't look for religious reinforcement, I depended on my training, education, and the professionalism of those around me. Instinct? Yes, based on my training and education. Emotions? No. I completely agree with you that Freedom of Religion is a cornerstone of both--but having/practicing religious belief is neither a necessary nor sufficient condition for honorable service, and IMPOSING one's religious views on subordinates or judging someone based upon their religious views (vs their actions to complete the mission) is completely counter to the principles upon which this nation was founded.

Re: “UPDATE: AFA coach's tweets spur demand for investigation

Military has a long History of ethical and spiritual loyalty to God, no other choice, when
you face America's Enemies you look for guidance and strength in your soul to endure
and survive the conflict !

Christians follow the Ten Commandments, others follow instinct, emotions or personal
gain.

Freedom of Religion a cornerstone of Military Service, Ditto Citizenship !
