I went there pre opening nite. I liked the place but their tap wine which I think was that Parducci was swill. I mean it tasted like the bottles I keep around to cook with.
Not their fault but we did not get a menu of the other wines they were offering by the glass. I would have paid more to not drink that mess. I don't think they should even serve it.
No food that night so I won't hold them on that but there are a lot of choice in Old CO. I would go for the wine as long as they have some decent ones by the glass. This review really did not dive into that.
Since it's a wine bar it would have been nice to see the reviewer discuss their wine offerings. Sort of like going to a brewpub and ordering a coke.
But it sounds like a high dollar risk until they sort some things out...I for one will wait for the all clear signal
I have been to this restaurant multiple time, and the food has always been perfection. Please don't let this article dissuade you from enjoying a delicious meal in such a cool atmosphere.

Please let us know when the problems are straightened out and it is worth trying for ourselves. Sounds a little pricey.
Thanks...these reviews are always of interest and worthy of directing us to new places to eat and hang out.
I'll be excited to try out The Parked Pierogi! I haven't had a real pierogi since I left Cleveland! Lol.
Thanks for the nice article and shout out!
Just had lunch at the French bistro. Wonderful casserole finished off with dessert. Will be back again. Charming decor with great service.
So North end Bistro..."is meant to be a healthier alternative to the fast-food restaurants along the Fillmore corridor."
where
"...breakfast hours will bring comfort-food goodies like Krispy Kreme doughnuts, chicken-and-waffles and banana-cream pancakes..."
This place has gone DOWNHILL and hit bottom! The last few times I have been there, the pulled pork was so dry that it crunched between my teeth! The last straw was my last visit, when I bit into a spoonful of frozen potato salad.
When I returned it, I was told that I should have brought it back sooner. Sooner? By the time I brought it back, the potato salad had melted and was a drippy mess.
ou are correct, Howard would have NEVER served anyone food like that, and I think he would not want to have his good name even associated with Kasey's. I happen to know Mr. Smith, and he is an hones and upstanding man, and NEVER in the last 20 years that he was in business did I ever get served bad food.
I anticipated that they wouldn't accept responsibility, so I will be posting a video where you can clearly hear the 'crunch' of the frozen potato salad.
I really enjoyed eating at FaerieTales they have the best food and great deserts, you wont find any better in town!
That is very high for a PBR...should be a buck a can.
I hope the folks that work at the airport are nicer and more accommodating than the woman who runs the Tejon store. We were so mistreated there this morning we went elsewhere and bought a different brand.
Front Range is simply dirty...and when you eat, you have to use one hand to swat away flies while you try to keep the BBQ in the bun with the other hand...not to mention trying to keep your warn plastic glass from slipping off the greasing table top.
Sounds downright awful if you ask me.
I went to the Rosie's in Monument several years ago, and I swear the mash and gravy was out of a can, plus it was deadly with salt (just like Village Inn's "food"). Yuck. Never went back.
If you're in the area of Diggy's, go up to All American Sports Cafe at Voyager and Middle Creek Pkwy for REAL food, great green chili, a superb Philly Cheese Steak and much more. Now open in the same little center as the Sports Cafe is Duca's Pizza, which is excellent. You can even get a fine breakfast or lunch sandwich in the Great Harvest Bread Co just two doors from Duca's. Try them!

Matthew, the next time you're in Guffey, Rita's is also well worth the trip.
Thanks for the mention, and I'm glad you liked Las Americas. -Richard (The Dive Review)
Curious, at FR BBQ, where is the Colorado All Natural Angus Beef from? Thanks.
Re: “Not quite there”
See...that is what I am talking about. Thanks Brian!
