Re: “French twist

Just had lunch at the French bistro. Wonderful casserole finished off with dessert. Will be back again. Charming decor with great service.

Re: “Side Dish: Phantom Canyon's growth spurt

So North end Bistro..."is meant to be a healthier alternative to the fast-food restaurants along the Fillmore corridor."
"...breakfast hours will bring comfort-food goodies like Krispy Kreme doughnuts, chicken-and-waffles and banana-cream pancakes..."

Re: “Bar barbecue

This place has gone DOWNHILL and hit bottom! The last few times I have been there, the pulled pork was so dry that it crunched between my teeth! The last straw was my last visit, when I bit into a spoonful of frozen potato salad.

When I returned it, I was told that I should have brought it back sooner. Sooner? By the time I brought it back, the potato salad had melted and was a drippy mess.

ou are correct, Howard would have NEVER served anyone food like that, and I think he would not want to have his good name even associated with Kasey's. I happen to know Mr. Smith, and he is an hones and upstanding man, and NEVER in the last 20 years that he was in business did I ever get served bad food.

I anticipated that they wouldn't accept responsibility, so I will be posting a video where you can clearly hear the 'crunch' of the frozen potato salad.

Re: “Side Dish: Bristol Taproom cleared for takeoff

I hope the folks that work at the airport are nicer and more accommodating than the woman who runs the Tejon store. We were so mistreated there this morning we went elsewhere and bought a different brand.

Re: “Dine & Dash

Front Range is simply dirty...and when you eat, you have to use one hand to swat away flies while you try to keep the BBQ in the bun with the other hand...not to mention trying to keep your warn plastic glass from slipping off the greasing table top.

Re: “Rosie's revisited

Sounds downright awful if you ask me.

I went to the Rosie's in Monument several years ago, and I swear the mash and gravy was out of a can, plus it was deadly with salt (just like Village Inn's "food"). Yuck. Never went back.

If you're in the area of Diggy's, go up to All American Sports Cafe at Voyager and Middle Creek Pkwy for REAL food, great green chili, a superb Philly Cheese Steak and much more. Now open in the same little center as the Sports Cafe is Duca's Pizza, which is excellent. You can even get a fine breakfast or lunch sandwich in the Great Harvest Bread Co just two doors from Duca's. Try them!…

Re: “Dine & Dash

Matthew, the next time you're in Guffey, Rita's is also well worth the trip.

Re: “Flame out

I ate at the Sunbird for the first time last Saturday night. The food was great. The service was great. The price was about what I expected for a restaurant of that caliber.

Re: “Dog days

The Nevada at Filmore Hot Dog stand is dirty, stale, and past it's expiration can be certain of an upset stomach even if you avoid the filthy eating space by getting carry out.

Re: “Seeking symmetry

Hi Katherine,

According to the importer, the other two locations are Pizzeria Locale in Boulder, and Fired Up Pizzeria in Durango.

Re: “Roaring fork

This is absolutely my favorite place to eat in Denver! But they took my favorite thing off the menu, NOOOOO! They used to have this Truffle Artichoke Tortellini in this amazing broth that was TO DIE FOR! Now I guess I need to go back up to Denver to pick a new favorite... last time we were there the bartender told me it would never come off the menu it was everyone's favorite... bummer... BUT, still AMAZING FOOD!
