Re: “GraceLand, Blues Brothers

This place has changed for the better! They have a new Manager named Dave and he has added alot more fun to the place. New flat screens, NFL was a blast with raffles at Halftime and End of Game. They redid the bar top and floors, bathrooms, and Finally brought back volleyball! The have a thursday night league that is already full, but are signing up for Wed and Sun. Dave said they are shooting to have 5 day a week leagues and it is going great. The wings still rock and on Saturdays they are 39 cents! Live music on Fridays, Karaoke on Thursdays, and Texas Hold'Em on Mondays. He said they are planing a Luau and Roasting a pig this Summer, plus 2 car shows, a bike show, and a Girls Car Wash! Nice to see Ofurrys back!

Re: “21/3 Jazz Fusion

This is an amazing group. You have to hear them live to appreciate the intricacy's of this band performing. They have elements of Weather Report , Yellow Jackets and even some Frank Zappa like instrumentals that weave their way through an intricate but melodic display of sounds. I was particularly intrigued by the unusual time signature performed to perfection throughout the night, but in particular the song "take a funky 5" was outstanding. If you enjoy opening your mind to exotic rhythm beautiful melodies and extra ordinary improvisation, you need to check these guys out.

Re: “Radio London CD Release Party

Great restaurant, but wrong venue for this band (in fact wrong decade!). Singer can do much better than playing with these aging wannabees. Something about them gives me the creeps. Springs Orleans should stick with classy blues and jazz.

Re: “Ryan and Roosters Wednesday Hamburger Jam

Great little jam at a great little place...good burgers, friendly staff, and a small venue for those musicians looking for that type of atmosphere to try out some new stuff. All musicians of all ages are welcome, and it's always fun. I love to play here regularly when I have the time, and Ryan and Rooster are fantastic!
