Re: “Benny's Restaurant & Lounge

Slow service. Bartender busy talking with friends. Not friendly unless you are a regular

Re: “Carey-On Saloon

Unfriendly atmosphere. Slow and poor service. Feels like only certain people are welcome. There was sweet 16 birthday party going on. Not recommended for a good time

Re: “Original Cannabis Growers

I think this place is just wonderful. They have some of the best bud I have ever had. They have such good prices. And your price is no different then the member price. They don't have upper or lower shelf prices. They are all the same price. Specials all the time. The bud is out of sight I'm telling you. It is a little hard to find. But, boy was it worth it. Its down the street from the western gas station on Platte. The shop is actually on Saint Vrain. You have to check this place out. You won't be disappointed :-)

Re: “Yarn Outlet

They DO have a large selection, but I have found the same yarns for lower prices in other stores. What they DON'T have is helpful, friendly employees. The older woman who was there when I was answered my questions with sarcastic comments and seemed to be resentful that I would even ask.

Re: “Glacier Homemade Ice Cream & Gelato

This looks like an absolutely delicious dish of gelato, homemade too!
Thanks

Re: “Ruffrano's Hell's Kitchen Pizza

I just read the review about it taking 25 mins for a calzone. Wow, I would have been overjoyed if it only took 25 mins. More like an hour!! Pizza was so so. Service was horrible and the place was a mess. $36 for crappy food. Do yourself a favor and don't go.

Get to Palmer Lake and try this place out, worth the drive! Best green chili I have had.

Everything I've ever had there is amazing!! One particular entree that blew me away is the salmon!! Every bite was heaven!! The prime rib will also make you a believer! :) I've moved out of state, but when I come back for visits, having another fantastic taste buds experience will HAVE to be at The Black Bear Restaurant!! On top of the superb cuisine, there's Victor Matthews who LOVES to hear about your dinning experiences face to face! If he possibly can, he will come out to your table to listen to your comments:) If you're a tourist, you'll take home exceptional memories of this restaurant!!!

Re: “Iron Horse Park

Really great park to take the family. Great plase to run, barbeque and picnic. Also near many stores if you should want a drink or get hungry.

Dave...wow, what a different experience you had.

I have eaten there a half of dozen times and love it. It is sophisticated food, the place is very clean, the food extremely fresh and handcrafted, the manager works hard (which can be mistaken as being pre-ocuppied, but hey, try working that hard and being charming in the same breath...I think he does a good job at that).

The food is excellent...and I am not paid to say that, nor am I related. I have several friends who feel very good about Q's as well.

I don't see how people are giving this place such rave reviews when we had a VERY BAD experience there. The staff and manager always bickering; asking if we had reservations when the place was not full, seating us at a table that was difficult to sit at (high top) and by the door. They were sitting people by the windows and outside in the HEAT AND SMOKE to make it appear busier than it was. The food was so-so and did I say that the attitude of the manager was HORRIBLE the entire time? I feel that the people that like this place are friends of the owner or paid to say so. DO NOT GO THERE! BTW they NO NOT ask for ID's for the drinks (no one was asked) and they add tips to your amount after you sign the card receipt!

Re: “Kairos Coffee and Tea

Wonderful atmosphere, quiet and a good place for a meeting or to study. Serving some of the best coffee in Colorado Springs, the staff is almost too friendly :)

Re: “JP Wellness

Jp Wellness Center is my first and last choice in town hands down. Huge selection of meds all top shelf quality in my opinion. If you havent been here yet your missing out on top quality meds and friendly family like staff who always are ready to assist and make the best suggestions for your every need and question. Thanks jp wellness for all your services and meds you provide. Always a returing customer and member ,Cassandra.R

Re: “Christal's - Austin Bluffs

All the fun of going there is gone, gone, gone. They immediately get your name written down off your ID due to shoplifters. Or take your ID if you protest... whichever you prefer...either way, you are a criminal the minute you walk in. If you're a little shy, don't go in the door. Hubby and I will be shopping online in a different company. One lady there is super nice, the other not so much. No bathroom access and continuously on surveillance ... No thanks. Treating those willing to spend $$$ like that will sink any store... Fast.

Re: “Voodoo Leatherworks

I love this place! The staff is very friendly, the food is great and the tea is *amazing*! It's certainly a bit off the beaten path, but it's worth it. It's certainly not a conventional tea house and it's still early in it's development - having opened doors in April, but the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. It's also great to have a new music venue in the Springs on Tuesday nights. Definitely worth checking out!

Re: “Christal's - Austin Bluffs

same manager as the one I had as a sales lady down south. Didnt remember me.. and once again tried to upsell me with bad advice and product.. they have some nice stuff but their upper end line of product is a little over price considering the product reviews.. and her knowledge is still more to be desired.. could be a great place but back off on the pressure sales.. I dont need someone breathing down my neck for a sale.

Re: “Christal's - Academy

This store could be great.. but it is not!!! The staff is a bunch of women that pretend to know the product.. But to be real, they don't know anything.. The manager was running the show and tried to up sell me like a used car sales person. That wouldn't of been so bad but she tried to sell me a cock pump with out a gauge that was more expensive and cheaper quality than the one I picked out with a gauge.. If this is what they call well trained then they are going to hurt someone from lack off or misrepresented knowledge. no stars for this manager.. She wears glasses and works at both stores. very rude..
