jp wellness hands down dankyest herb iv seen in a while, came in yesterday first time and wow! great bud tenders the vibes all around that shop are cozy they make you feel like your at home. i have to say give a big thank you to the gorgeous Ashley who made my day yesterday when she recommended the blue cheese!! FIREEE!!
Gotta say that our experience was not that good, and I so wanted it to be great and to support small business guys and support our downtown. Alas....
The place is NOISY. There's an old-fashioned embossed metal ceiling and nothing on the walls to deaden the sound. It's as bad or worse than Chipotle. The ordering counter is too wide and with all the noise in there it becomes a shouting match between the girl taking orders and the customers. Good grief, how can one enjoy their visit? We sat there the whole duration having to listen to the ordering process for other customers and we were near the front door.
Our order got screwed up. There's an order numbering system the kitchen follows but my wife got her order, I got nothing, and the kid bringing it looked at me as if I were crazy and he asked me if I had ordered anything. Really? There seemed a lot of confusion on which orders went to which tables.
What's with the "garden" talk. I know, I know. It's restaurant lingo for lettuce and tomato on a sandwich. I didn't want it, but the girl gave us no choice, we had to have the "garden" but did we want it on the burger or on the side. Maybe she didn't hear me over all the noise. We opted for the "garden" on the side and it's a good thing, as the razor thin slice of tomato was so dried out it looked like it had been sitting out all day.
The french fries were awful. Limp and greasy, like the greasy fries at Five Guys, the kind of fries that reek of a 1-step cooking process and grease too cold to cook the inside. I worked fast food 50 years ago and we did 2-step fries from raw potatoes that came out brown, crisp and tasted fine. The fries at Ted's up in Briargate are great fries, you can sit at the bar and watch their 2-step frying process from raw potatoes.
Cost is not cheap. I don't mind paying BB's price for quality meats but the rest of the experience was off-putting. I hope these are just start-up issues that get quickly worked out but we'll have to wait and see.
Best in town
Love McCabes. The owners/McCabes are a wonderful asset to C/S. They are incredibly philanthropic, support every event here in town-and the food and drinks are great. Wish more businesses were like them here in town. Forget the chains - support our local businesses.
Nice park, grass, trees, a stream, music, food and fun. Wonderful art and creativity, view, enjoy, buy.
This place is what Italiano is all about. We've been there more times than I can count and have never been disappointed.
Fantastic food! Great wine list - but Kim usually picks one out for us :o)
The menu is great, but I almost always get the special. Armando is the best!
Try it - you'll love it.
Expensive, small and lacking good service. After reading so many articles about the new Bingo Burger in Colorado Springs, we were very excited to give this place a try. Two burgers, two sodas and one combo small/ cold fry totaled over $30. The meat was good and juicy but that is all the positive I can say. The table next to us even had to return their order. For local burger, the Green Line Grill makes a better basic burger and for overall best burger in the Springs, we will have to stick to BJ's Brewhouse double deluxe. Sad it just didn't work out. With so many employees, I don't know how you can have dirty floors and tables and forget items in an order, not to mention sending out cold fries. Hope this place improves over time.
Outstanding strains love their shatter when they have it. But overall great staff Bill is the man I talk to all the time. Keep up the great work Grow Life
wow, quaint Italian atmosphere, friendly, knowledgeable wait staff and the food!!! I have never experienced salmon like this. Please do yourself a favor and give this place a try.
Love McCabes. Feels like family! and Greg and Ari rock!
I SO LOVE THE FACT THAT MAGGIE'S FARM PRACTICES WHAT THEY PREACH. ITS VERY REFRESHING.
The BEST Italian in town!!
This place is amazing...The staff is very knowlegdable about all products in the store. there product is beatiful, smells awesome and there is no taste like it anywhere!!! I love these guys. Way to grow and sell!!!!!!
Best place I've been. Greatest customer service and products in town. I like the fact that they always have a wonderful selection of bud and edibles. Keep up the great work and I'll always come back. Kudos to MC Caregivers for actually doing it right!!
I've been a Maggie's member for 3 years now. I also have many health conditions which I smoke to help relieve my symptoms. I would be lost without their products. I occasionally visit other shops due to being lazy or curious and i always end up regretting it and loosing out on the money because the product doesn't help. Love the staff, they know their members and always make you feel right at home. Couldn't ask for anything more then what they offer. Plus i love the fact the owner is in the shop every now and again and really connects with his patients. Shows he cares not just about the money

I often find the atmosphere to be unwelcoming and the prices to be slightly higher.
This place is everything you're looking for. Healthy, friendly, and tasty!
This school brings what a true martial arts school should be to the Springs. The Springs is overrun with "martial arts gyms" full of people who don't know what the true meaning on martial arts is. This school is lead by an amazing sensei who is there to lead and respect you; he sparks a sense of confidence in people that most people never feel. As a female it is always intimidating to join martial arts; but this school immediately treats you like family. No martial arts is easy, and adversely can cause injury, but this is a non judgmental environment that makes it easy to go at your own pace and stay within your physical and mental limitations. I have nothing but positive things to say about the sensei and students. If you want to be respected and treated like family, I suggest going to this school.
I work fr Maggie's Farm in Pueblo West and it is a cool place to work for and the bud is easy to trim. (that is what I do :-) ) I have yet to check out the new location but I will very soon. the only thing is the prices are too high for rec MMJ and I do not get a discount. Other than that I love my job.
