Mr. M, your myopia is showing. Obama gives a speech supporting the same type of "family values" that Dobson's outfit should support (and would, were Obama a white Republican), the Jackson makes a crude comment, and that is somehow meaningful? Or have you seen the error of your ways and realized that Obama should be President, especially when running against Old Fool McCain?
Nawwwww, I didn't think so.
LMAO @ Bill.
Yeah, great thought process on why Eric Christen has to be an NRA member.
And yes, you found us all out: we teachers do this job simply for the extravagent salaries we make as teachers. And for the exorbitant pensions we'll get on retirement. The only issue I have is that, given the huge sum I make in salary, I doubt I can afford to retire until the year 2099. But, after that, I am living the life of luxury!
And I just caught on to the Indy's archive system just now. Why in God's name are we even discussing an article from 2003 ???? At least it explains why Dougie Buice and Eric Christen were omitted.
OK, two questions:
1. You must have classified Dougie Bruce in a league of his own, since you didn't mention him.
2. Eric Christen deserves at least a dishonorable mention. Granted, his stay was (mercifully) short and he was elected to a suppposedly nonpartisan position on the D11 school board, but he was GOP through and through.
Not playing your little games, especially not to glorify your cause. Talk to yourself, Bill; this dialogue is now a monologue.
Mr. M, you bet I would. The letter writer questioned the Gazette's interest in local events. Bill somehow turned that around to question the Indy's position on the Second Amendment. That's (sorry, Bill) perverse!
Being a newcomer, I now realize that this must be Bill's (and yours?) modus operandi. Heck, the letter last week that caused Bill to open up on the Second Amendment last week was a letter about Udall's position on energy, not guns.
Stick to the topic, not what you wish the topic was. And if nobody addresses your topic, go haul your soapbox down to Memorial Park. Or, better yet, write your own damn letters to the Indy or the Gagette.
Much ado about less than nothing.
Bill, I mean this with kindness, not with sarcasm:
Get a life. Or another hobby. Or SOMETHING other than shilling for the NRA. Life is short; enjoy it!
orry, Bill. I do. Run another ad for the NRA.
