Re: Mayor Bach in charge of CSU
Two words: HELL NO!!!!!!
Reason: Dictator Strong Mayor Bach has enough to rape the folk of C/S over. If Bach gets his hands on CSU, the utility rates, due to privatization, will skyrocket. We need to keep his hands off of this!!
The carefully orchestrated propagandized campaign against Hemp/Cannabis/Marijuana can be traced to two things: Big Pharma, and their lap-dog: FDA.
Note to Cara Koch and Leon Rodriguez: I'm one of the 'living vessels', in this country, that does not have any insurance of any kind, whatsoever. I will not be forced to contract, under any conditions (Constitutionally protected), with any insurance, for any reason, regardless of what goes on in DC, or Denver. I will "pay my own way", and no "what-if" will change that. My "yes" is yes, and my "no is no! To attempt to force me otherwise is tyranny!
Thomas Jefferson: "There is no worse tyranny than to force a man to pay for what he does not want merely because you think it would be good for him."
All bickerings aside, the key contest this yr is Clerk & Recorder. With Williams and Damron attempting to 'switch jobs', the candidate that gets my support is Dr Charles Corry. If only for his dogged desire to see electronic-voting done much more securely than it has ever before been considered, let-alone attempted. Currently, politics rules that roost, and with Corry at the helm, especially since he's been an establishment antagonist all the yrs I've known him (2004), Clerk & Recorder will run like it should, and that will be a totally refreshing change for this county, as well as a thorn in the side of the GOP establishment that would prefer Williams, at best, and Damron, at worst.
I get the "joke". The article does well in masking its intent until about 3/4 the way through, then it went into total implausibility mode. Especially involving a 13 yr-old, as a potential volunteer for the "program", and bringing C/S's alleged arch-enemy Doug Bruce into it. While I do see the "humor" of it, and also knowing that the Independent makes a yearly effort to out-do itself on these "April Fools" jokes, I do agree with the other comments that this was a subject best left alone. Hopefully, even John Weiss will admit that meth addiction is no laughing matter. Thanks for your time.
It'll be interesting to see how many more "closets" of "skeletons" Pam Zubeck will find in her continuing investigation, and how the political establishment will attempt to defray the damage caused by these 'skeletons'. Well Done Independent!
Regardless of what happens in DC, I will not contract for any kind of "care", with any franchise of the municipal corporation "United States", which masquerades as the federal gov't.
Re: “12 Rounds”
John Cena is getting better at acting. A good dvd to watch for lunch.
