Since City Council is working to open the Incline to all and Tim Leigh is a Councilman, perhaps he was on a "fact finding mission" to evaluate the state of the Incline so he could make an informed decision on what it will take to ensure the Incline is safe to open! :-)
PS: I haven't been on the Incline since they took away the Mt. Manitou Scenic Incline Railway!
The list of salaries does not include elected officials. In case anyone is wondering, my "salary" is $6,250 per year or $3 per hour based on a 40-hour work week (I average about 30 hours per week on council and council-related meetings and events). Don't want the public thinking we are trying to hide elected officials' salaries!!
This is FALSE. There is NO charge for using budget billing. CSU does include an 8% escalation in the estimated budget billing but when the account is reconciled at the end of the budget billing period, ALL money paid is compared to the ACTUAL usage and any excess paid is carried over to the next budget billing period. Any underpayment can either be paid or also carried over.
Again, there is NO charge to use budget billing!

RR, I know that humor is your forte, but the slam on Memorial is really inaccurate. MHS provides over $60 million per year in uncompensated health care. This is one of the main reasons I would never support selling MHS to a for-profit hospital system.
Terry, it would have been easy to step away from a stressful job with many challenges including shrinking budgets and increased demand for service. I am very pleased that you put your personal plans aside to answer the call, once again, of your constituents. The vote validates all the improvements you have made and the level of citizen satisfaction in your leadership. I am proud to be a supporter!

As a City Council member, and a member of the Friends of the Historic Colorado Springs City Auditorium, I can assure Ms Nall that there are several, if not all, council members who do not support selling our city auditorium. It is good to see that someone who doesn't live in Colorado Springs wants to support this great asset of our community. I assume that she does not shop at the Walmart in Fountain but spends her sales tax money in Colorado Springs to help fund the city auditorium?
Re: “Herpin to seek re-election”
Hmmm...in my nearly five years on council, I've never started a comment on an issue with "Being a Christian..."!
