Not being a homosexual, once having voted Republican but then realizing they were really the lap dogs of Wall Street and Big Business, I thank Ralph for being here, being willing to take some heat from those dear compassionate, conservative, trickle down, theocrats. I remember my neighbors, high on the capitalist koolaid, waiting to gloat for who was it? McCain? I hope my open minded neighbors are insulted by the Republican assumption that their memories are so easily manipulated. It took Bush and his buddies 8 years to try to wreck our democracy, trying vainly to hand it over to Enron and company, give Obama some time for goodness sakes.
We should let Christo paint the noses of all the dear Senators in a bright shade of orange, that would generate more tourism and amusement than this river project. He's must feel the pressure of not having broken the dam in the Balkans. I am a big supported of art, but not art that is reckless with our natural world.
Headline: "You Bet Your As$" . Apparently in a freak accident, when a local self proclaimed king (Bru-Diddee) bet his friend that his brand new, "Butt Out" was no match for the king's very strong buttock muscles, (or tight @ss), as the tax deadbeat king closely examined the device to look for loopholes and other structural defects, the device latched onto the kings mouth (fair mistake) and promptly detached his lips and tongue. The tax dodger king then declared that he had won the bet (using his talented rear) and would be suing everyone who denied his victory. Calls from the producers of Dumb/a$$, were returned by his friend resulting in a net profit after travel and production costs...The show was retitled, "you bet your a$S". The names were not provided in order to avoid unecessary legal fees and wasted time....
Here's another reason we don't want to fund big gov't, something stinks in the sherrif's office and it isn't the loo....
Sounds like a charter school using an ethnic cover name of a great man to hide their poor practices. I work in public schools, the staff must have documented training in CSAP admin, then clear rules and methods are in place to ensure students are not given extra instruction. Accomodations such as oral presentation and extended time must be well documented. It's a lot of work and it seems to me CCE arrogantly broke the rules. There is no way that all of the 4th and 5th grade students qualified for accomodations, "red flag" anyone? Charter schools can have the advantages of small classes but teacher and admin quality are not consistent. Even the highly touted charters are taking advantage of teachers by expecting 10 hour days and less planning time. No doubt there are success stories among the charters, but if I could cherry pick my student population, that would quickly eliminate the "trouble makers" that disrupt the learning time. More recent data disproves that Charters are the cure all. I agree in competition, I don't agree with making schools a profit center.
Cara has been one reason I kept reading the CSIndy. Nice to have Rich T, but who will fill the vacuum without Cara. Cara, thankfully, you'll be there at Colorado Confidential, and we have mr. Bruce to keep us wide eyed in the state legislature. Are you sure you want to leave this unique concentration of righteous facists that has become our legend? I have a theory that we have the lowest per student support by the state as a consequence of the "Bruce" effect. Why spend dollars to educate the flat earthers? Off my soap box and hope you visit the Indy pages when you get tired of the big D.
Thank you for producing this book. It provides better insight to the terrible reality the families of both the victims and killers. The fear generated by Simon Sue was seen in more than the boys, it was there for his family too. I understand the Sue home was an amory. We need to be alert to this kind of access for persons with violent fantasies. I'm not suggesting we need to be turning in the neighborhood gun nuts, just keep awake to the danger. Often we won't know about these caches of arms, but I know the Sue's were not unknown to other's in the community. Should there be a law that requires locked safes for arms not being used for "hunting"? Should there be liability for the parents when a person, over 18 is using their home for an arms cache? Don't parents have rights to send an unstable person out of their home? Was it just Simon that had a connection to the gov't of Guyanna or were the parents a part of that connection? Is there a resource for parents that are afraid of their kids? So many unanswered questions still. Please consider more editions as you may have considerable interest in this crime from those of us who work with children and are seeking to understand the means to keep them safe.
