I was a student of Eric Bransby the first year he taught at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He was a hero at the time because I loved figure drawing. He taught me to focus on structure where before I concentrated on the gesture. He was a great encouragement to me in getting my MFA. Great teachers are to be appreciated and Eric Bransby was a great teacher as well as a great muralist and printmaker.
