What a sad situation! I've seen this situation before! Why does the Army (military services) let these young men flounder around. Of course the recruiter made his quota & possibly a bonus; the recruit only 1/2 his bonus and then thrown to the wolves, and what happened to the assignment he was promised "no trouble getting assigned as a cavalry scout!!" Was the recruit's backgroujnd checked??
Where is the leadership, probably at the Officer or NCO club. Where is comradeship ~ take care of your fellow man when he needs help, rather than harassment and name calling.
