Minor nit-pick. I believe that Dawn Haliburton-Rudy was referring to the Colorado Springs Women's March, that drew 7,000 people of all genders and hues, not 700 as indicated in this blog. This is perhaps the largest local march since anti-Viet Nam war protests of the early 1970's.
Several quick comments.
1) Laura played the lead point person for the very successful 2012 Give! Campaign ($982,000+ raises) for about ten months -- which is not a "brief" period of time in my book.
2) I thought several of the point/counter points that Daniel coordinated were very good, even excellent. Both sides gave their best shot, and often the more progressive voice clearly carried the day.
3) Questions for Daniel and/or Wayne:
a) Why did you keep it secret from the readers that Dan'l was coordinating this section?
b) With hindsight, do you think you should have announced that Daniel was coordinating the section?
Right now, it makes it look like you were intentionally deceptive, like you were hiding something.
Here is some unasked for advice: When in doubt, be transparent.
