Hey, Mr. Bill Sulzman, well researched letter on the Thunderbirds flyover. I'm wondering why you didn't calculate the $$ needed to get Joe Biden here for the Commencement address? The armoured motorcade, which are gas-guzzling tanks, Air Force 2 for Biden, the $$ forked out for hotels, Secret Service... all on the taxpayers dime. I guess that didn't bother you. I'm sure you found his prescence at USAFA necessary, but not the T-birds. By the way, the Academy's annual economic impact to the COS community: $650 million. That's 13000 flyovers at your $50,000 a pop.
Oh, maybe you could rail on the Obama's night on the town in NY for us. Let me help: Taxpayers footed the bill for the big night on the town, which included a total of at least $24,000 for the three aircraft used to ferry the Obamas, aides and reporters to New York and back.
Woud you call that "...expensive. Some might say wasteful"?

You are correct, it wasn't Air Force One like someone said: it was THREE aircraft. Typical of you, you use a 'well Bush did it' argument to justify waste. If you are going to call out wasteful spending, call out ALL wasteful spending. Everyone in Washington is a money spending elitist.
