Well Shawn I understand your a board member for PCS. Have you or any of the board members even looked at the person who has done the CSAP training for PCS? Did this person even have enough knowledge to be a trainer, just maybe CCA didn't get the proper training needed and made some assumptions cause they couldn't get any answers from the district coordintator. From what I've heard through the grape vines, is that this district coordinator never made the rounds to any school during CSAP.
It will be a "waste of money" if PCS can't prove cheating on the CSAP. PCS better have their facts together or is PCS just digging up old facts that were already checked out and nothing came of it. PCS says their 7.5 million in debt but yet they'll willing to pay a portion of $80 thousand and put the district more in debt. It seems as though PCS is always trying to prove something wrong with CCA maybe it's the person in charge of the CSAP that they should take a look at their own practices. Does any monitoring even happen in the districts own schools. I doubt it or they would have never had the incident at Bradford.
I don't believe anything will happen with the CSAP and the CSI. If these stories about CSAP are true, then I think more parents need to come out and standup. These are children and they don't need to be taught to cheat. Again, parents need to speak out now so next spring CSAP could be monitored by the Vise person. If he's the spokes person for pueblo city schools CSAP than he needs to monitor what's going on during testing. If no monitoring is going to happen than just maybe is he owned by the CCA network.
Who trained these individuals at CCA to administer the CSAP? Wasn't there any directions on who gets accommodations? They need the proper training on how to administer and how to complete the accommodations forms. I believe part of this mess is training, people need to be trained. And if Vise knew what was happening why wasn't he at CCA to monitor and make sure practices and protocal was done right?
