Re: “The 'right' in righteous

Challenging your own party in principled debate is NOT tearing down the party. It's the only way to deepen your beliefs and convictions so you can face the den of liars, thieves and deceivers that is the state capitol. Republicans need to wake up and use each and every opportunity to espouse the principles that make this country great. Stop looking at disagreements as in-fighting and consider it training for the battles to come. When we stand for Limited Government, Individual Responsibility & Personal Freedom you can't lose.

Re: “Bach to business

30 years ago. Seriously the focus is on a one sided biased story and a business dispute from 30 years ago? He's been married for 27 years to his current spouse, 27 years! Now I know that Skorman is worried about his election.

Lets talk about the issues please.

Re: “Brewing terrorism

Was this article attempting to be satire? Someone can't honestly think this way right? Have they ever attended a tea party, talked to the actual people who go about what the problem is? Just another sad attempt by the liberal media to marginalize and associate Americans who want to limit government with people who want to distroy it. Its just sad.

Re: “Brewing terrorism

This has got to be one of the most rediculous articles I've ever read. Talk about inciting panic and fear. Watch your neighbor who went to the tea party today, they could be the next crazy bomber of government buildings! Oh do people metion the nut who flew into the IRS building was a registered democrat? Guess that's not the fringe we want to talk about at the independent.

Re: “Editorial: Help prevent a TABOR train wreck

Based on this article you would think the only items the city spends money on are police, fire & roads. For some reason those are the only buget measures ever mentioned when taxes are trying to be raised.

Is it possible that money is spent else where that isn't needed? Is it possible the city could outsource services that are not required in the city charter? Nope guess not. First cut is always fire police & firemen so we can scare the public into thinking there are no other options and your home will burn down and your daughters will be rapped if you don't say yes.
