Re: “Letters

The violations on Arizona Border are a matter of national security.

Groups of people from a foreign country, that by any definition are terrorists, are operating in the United States, with impunity. They are harassing and killing citizens, attempting to kill law enforcement officers, and supporting illegal drug operations. They are literally in control of portions of the state of Arizona.

This country has a stringent policy against terrorists. We guard our airports, out stadiums, even our federal buildings. We travel to foreign countries in search of terrorists, as in the example of Iraq and Afghanistan. Yet our government allows terrorists to come across our Southern border with ease and terrorize our citizens.

The federal government has abjectly failed in its responsibility to protect the citizens of the United States against invasion by a foreign entity. They are derelict in their duty to provide security to the citizens of the State of Arizona when they have the means to do so.

They provide lip service to their responsibility. They send the National Guard to the border and have them do paperwork, and the government does not allow them any enforcement responsibility. Mean while the terrorists continue to operate without challenge.

The preamble to the Constitution says, “We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, PROVIDE FOR THE COMMON DEFENSE, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the united States of America. “

Here is a message to those who have that responsibility.

This is our country and we intend to keep it.

Protect our people. Do whatever you have to. Send soldiers down there to prevent this invasion of terrorists. Send them into Mexico if you have to. We are doing it in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, and Iraq.

If you do not think you can, we will find someone who will.

Re: “The resurrection of Pastor Ted

Ted found out that we are all capable of falling, sometimes hard. The results of that can be devastating if you think you are someone other than whom you are. The key is to get back up, accept who you are, and move on. Ted has done that and has a wonderful attitude about it. It is a great help to others. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is forgiveness and He is love. It will always be that way. He fully demonstrated that in Jesus and taught us that we are the same. To embrace that, love it, and adore it, is to be it. :>)
