Today you do not need to have a space missile or the like to destroy satellites. I'm sure there are those, terrorist affiliated and non terrorist that have the capability and are planning as we speak to hack into any government/not government satellite and put some kind of virus/worm to take over and or destroy the satellites which would disable everything we know or don't know of. Time will only tell, good luck to us all!!!
