7/23/13 Colorado Springs, still afraid of a plant, makes an ordinance to oppose its sale or growth within city limits, proving that they are more concerned about the military industrial complex and the concerns their soldiers won't be able to control themselves faced with legal pot stores than they are with the actual will of the people who live here. by choice and permanently. At least for now, keeping my options open.
an ectopic fetus can not be saved as it usually begins to cause problems for the mother at abt 6 wks. and what would you suggest doing abt tissue that grows but does not form correctly? a woman's body will usually abort this fetus on its own. does this mean the mother is at fault? should she be punished for what her body does on its own?
the problem with this amendment is it is too broad and opens up doors for a lot of frivolous lawsuits.
instead of an amendment i suggest that we as a nation take care of the children who ARE born. instead of standing in front of buildings with signs go into your community, find those brave women who have chosen life and HELP them to make that life they created and brought to term happy and full.
as absurd as blaming obama for the homeless camps may be perhaps it will bring some much needed attention their way. my biggest worry is that this attention will be of the WRONG kind and will only encourage the city to be harder on our homeless citizens.
as for drummerrz.... stop listening to rush and fox news and look up some actual facts. i can't say obama has done even 1/10th of what i elected him to do but he is in fact DOING regardless of whether he is doing it with as much force as i would like. i can't even begin to scratch the surface with reminders of the "good ol' days" under georgie.
if you want a recap go to bestoftheleft podcast and take a listen from their first shows on. i did it recently and i gotta say it made me a little sick.
