I was stationed at Fort Carson, after returning from Vietnam via Walter Reed. It was July 68. We hung out in the park, where we sold pot, hash and acid. At night it was Kelker Junction and it seems like Alice Cooper was there, not sure. Then at Reed's Ranch I saw Quick Silver Messenger Service with the Steve Miller Band along with the best light show I had ever seen on the best acid I'd ever done ,Owsley" Purple Double Dots". At the City Auditorium I saw either the Vanilla Fudge or the Cream doing "Season of the Witch" on great hash which seemed very plentiful at that time.
