Just returned to the Springs. On a Sat., afternoon our down town was DEAD! Yet some (most) of the little Tx., and, N.M. towns I passed through seemed busy, with merchants flying sale banners, just as expected, folk's going to, and, fro.
All apperances, our "big city" attempts down town are a ZERO..C.Spgs., needs to return to a tourism based economy in the summer, and, skiing economy in the winter months..sure worked for my life time here.

As an older guy who usually has success with younger (20's) women. You hit it on the head or, over "beside himself's, head) most of my young ladies approach me! To continue pursuing a much younger woman is CREEPY!
Older guy's, trust me LOTS of younger women enjoy what older guy's have to offer..and, MANY DO NOT! If a younger lady has interest, she will show it! "Besides yourself" attempt NOT to be the "PERV uncle, or, dirty old neighbor..it's unseemly, and makes it tough on the rest of us!!LOL Goddess, your column ROCKS!!!

Funny Sh-t man, WOW! Didn't get a chance to go on line..apparently the "WORLD WIDE WEB" thingy ain't all that wide in Tx., me thinks Bush is behind that lack of information technology? We should send Tx., a ton of "BUTT REMOVERS" never know, it might help?

O M G! ONLY here in the heart of Oz,(C.Spgs) where right wing nuts, and, tea baggers beg Fox news to scare them, worship at the feet of Ronnie Reagan, and are so far gone mentally that they would attempt to support corporate "person hood".
Dude, get off that Fox network dope! SERIOUSLY!! Look at all the evidence of the "kind corporations" pull your own pants on, and attempt to create a better world! Or maybe we could all pledge our corporate love, and darken all of America's street lights, abandon all our national parks, screw it let's not put a dime in infrastructure..
Can anyone who lives here in the Republican experiment seriously think their policy works? STUPIDITY should really hurt!

WOW! Rich, it is so nice to see a real open opinion published. Ted, and, the Evil DR.Dobson, pollute the minds of so many of our weak minded neighbors. How did they miss Jim Jones' Kool-aid? If we want to grow as a society discrediting the intolerant, ignorant charlatans, is the only hope. Humor may just be the best route. Young people see your ironic sense of humor, feel the false message they deliver, and, we hope turn away from it. Islam builds it's radical troops, one young mind at a time...just as these "right wing-nuts" build their "parishes".

Rev. Tom, I agree, to use terms like" uncredentialed", or,"unqualified" when speaking about religious leaders isn't in good taste! My observation is that most religious leaders put the"B.S." in their degrees in HOOEY, intolerance, and, myth!
Funny how an omnipotent god needs Rev. Tom to back his/her minions...
