I would have kept the cross and, with minor modifications, made a Sun Cross out it (btw Sun Cross predates Christian cross symbol by 1000's of years). To those who claim Sgt Longcrier installed the cross himself: paganism is in no need of sensationalism or publicity. Unlike some major faiths in this country, Paganism is not a proselytizing religion.
