First of all I am not TH so go ahead and stop yourself there, I am just another citizen that knows our sheriff is doing an excellent job. Also, please tell me what is true...are we not a country founded on innocent until proven guilty? So stop just listening to everything you hear, and as I said before, get out of high school.
You have lost all validity when it comes to anyone listening to your post when you can't even spell MAKETA correctly, you are as ignorant as the person who wrote this article and where all of the "information" came from.
You are a joke.
once again show proof. or you can continue to live in your high school ,he said she said, rumor world.
Show me some proof of what you claim, wild accusations made by someone who has no proof of anything. I can make up things to, and they will sound really good and make for an awesome story. Then that awesome story could win me the Associated Press Managing Editors Public Service Award just like someone else; and it will be published and someone just like you will look at it and say "hey that is something I can believe" and the rumor will begin to spread. Some unethical journalists can make anything they want look however they want. Let me put you in these shoes; you think to yourself, hey maybe I want to run for a public office. You go through the motions, you even have a flawless record and are an expert in the field. However there is someone out there who has a vendetta against you and they slam you with things you know are not true. How do you think that will work out for you? Would you sit quietly and stay professional? Please think about things like that before you just decide that everything you read is true. Why don't you get out of high school and stop believing a he said she said rumor and stop a spreading problem. I'll tell you what as soon as someone comes up with anything to support these claims I will stop defending our sheriff. Until then, stop agreeing with things that are bordering on libel.
What benefit would it be to have his command staff interviewed? To squelch a rumor just before another one pops up. No if you look at his employment record and everything aside from rumors he is a great sheriff and will continue to be a great sheriff. Show me one piece of hard evidence to prove otherwise. Until then, stick to talking about things you know, like flipping burgers at McDonalds.
@juno and montana
Lies in an article are immoral, and shame on you for believing everything you are told, especially by a small town article like this.
This is a joke; it's pretty bad when we can't even have a clean election season. This is just another perfect example of the immoral actions offered by some of the journalists in this town. We cannot discredit him in anyway as a sheriff, so they are going to try to pull something out of left field that does not even pertain to his work or how he runs the sheriffs office. I noticed there was nothing in the article about how he was able to keep people employed even after the budget cuts this past year. There is nothing in there on how he has gone out of his way to make the El Paso County Sheriff's Office known across the country as an office to emulate in every way. So yes good work Pam on using your unethical tactics to make it seem like our sheriff is not doing his job.
