There are those that "do" and those that "talk." As a party insider and long time worker, it's very apparent, not so much from this article but from a "what are you actually doing to help the party" perspective, that Ms. Anderson is a talker. A girl of sharp words without the actions to back them up. Pity. Instead of throwing stones perhaps you should try building up the structure you were elected to support and strengthen?
I continue to like this guy. No matter which way your political ideology flag waves, there is no way Bahr fits the standard mold of a politician. And I like that.
Skorman has and will continue to rely on big union money and out of state interests to fund his quite liberal agenda and campaign.
Good hire Joe ;)
Whoaaaaaaahhh. Loved it.
Hey like him or hate him (and I like him) at least Brian Bahr is putting his money where his mouth is. My fond friend Hazelhurst fails to point out in this piece that Bahr has committed to match his donors dollar for dollar.
Having met Bahr and after listening to months of his "fresh every day" minute on the radio and his website, I am convinced. He is what our city needs.
Egad! Is the Gazette actually going to cover this race? lol - the comments section are interesting. http://www.gazette.com/articles/debate-101…
Re: “The Blue Star”
Hiring the new chef and snagging Nate as a bartender were excellent decisions. The late night menu needs work and the staff are okay, but not brilliant. More training and a little more panache would go a long way. It's Blue Star, not Jose Muldoons and I expect the staff to live up to a higher standard. All that said, it's good value, the best martini in town, and a wine list that compels a second look.
