Chris Diablo above must not know how to use his caps lock key.
It would be great to have a good place in Colorado Springs to see live music as opposed to cheap DJs pumping digitized dreck at you. Certainly the Thirsty Parrot has the stage and sound system to get the job done. The problem is typical... the management cannot be bothered to promote anything - even when the shows are going on under their own roof. No one bothers to even change the marquee. Free live music may be happening upstairs and no one downstairs would ever know about it, since all the management cares about is keeping their regular DJ acts pumping their worthless tripe near the kitchen, which always seems to be out of half the advertised items. That dive is going downhill fast. I don't expect it will survive summer 2010.
