I was also shocked and appalled to learn that this curriculum was being offered in a public school, funded by taxpayers of many faiths and those who don't practice any. A church-based curriculum should be taught by that church to its followers, or by the followers of that faith to their own children in their homes. Facts and unbiased information should be the only things offered in a public school health class. As a parent, a taxpayer, and a person with strong moral values and ethics, I am grateful to the CS Indy for shining a light on another example of how the religious right is trying to hijack the hearts and minds of our community. Bravo to Zach and his parents for standing up for impartiality in our public schools.
