Re: “Poblano's Family Mexican Restaurant

I'm thoroughly surprised that this place has gotten any good reviews. My husband and I went to Poblanos tonight for the first time, and we were completely disappointed. The waitress was slow, the "sangria" I ordered had a milky texture, the appetizer (we ordered the Queso Fundido) was a glob of grease and cheese, and the food was totally bland, even after a good dose of salt. My husband ate all of his food in hopes he'd find the flavor, but I couldn't stomach all of mine and left over half the plate. There are so many better places in Colorado Springs, so don't waste time or money here. Even Taco Bell is better because it at least has flavor!

Who wants to bet that Bruce is trying to get this passed so he can then run for mayor?

Ugh, no thank you Bruce!

Re: “System failure [Translation: falla del sistema]

This is so sad and so wrong. I don't understand how that doctor, in good conscience, could remove a kidney that all tests said was healthy. Was he just trying to make a buck? Did he not pay close enough attention? Or was he overconfident in his abilities? A healthy newborn goes into an operating room and comes out unhealthy. That's so wrong on so many levels.

My heart goes out to the family. I hope a new kidney can be found very quickly and the little girl has a chance to be a regular kid.

Yup, a true showing of the city's 'finest'.

Ugh.
