Well said in all these posts except for the person who said all are the same under the cross...Trouble with that we are the same when true repentence occurs..In Ted's case, most including myself due to many things such as him being enamored with himself and his side kick wife grooming his position seem alot less than true repentence..
The biggest issue as well is how he distorts the view of Peter and Judas..He compares their shortcomings as equal..WRONG!! Judas was never a true follower as the other 11, and keep in mind he was picked for this hour of betrayal!! Only he received the condemnation given to him from Christ stating it would better for him to never been born at all than to do what he is going to do.
He didnt' judge the others this way and Peter he said to Feed the Sheep, not Judas!!! Big difference here..which shows again how distorted Haggard views the disciples and can't or doesn't see the difference...It is simply due to the fact he never had been a christian, but is as Paul warned , "They come from us but left because they never were of us" paraphrased!!
This is the foundation of the flaw with good old Haggard and his phony wife...It's all about prestige, power and sifting funds from a delusioned crowd!!
