Loved the food - truffle coated french fries, tempura fried bacon, tasty shrimps all with nice dipping sauces. The music was outstanding and the place was comfortable with an elegant, upscale vibe. Only complaint was the noise level in the room - lots of hard reflective surfaces and chatty youngsters.
Rabbi Mel: I guess blessed are the peacemakers, but Trump's "I have great respect" is hard to take seriously after the last 5 years of disrespecting President Obama. It's just another lie, from someone who seems to be unable to tell the truth about anything at all.
I find the Jesus ads on benches distasteful, another indicator that we are a backwards city, but I agree that it's within their rights to have them posted, just so long as we can also post "There is no God" signs right next to them.
I miss Rich!
Seems reasonable to me to have a park fee with tollbooths at the entrances. Visitors should get a handout with regulations and safety tips. Locals should get some sort of annual membership.
Thanks for your smug patronizing comments. I've been using these things for maybe 10 years now and the problems I've run into are due to poor design, machine screw-ups, or hard to read codes. Sorry but it's not operator error unless you're referring to the operators who engineered these devices. I'm tired of machines that keep telling me to rescan my package when I've successfully scanned it already and placed it in the bag. Or trying to get it to read a bar code that's been mangled somewhere in the process. My cell phone can identify an apple why can't your machine so I don't have to go through a bunch of menus to find the code?
I'd like to know what percent of those fees actually go to the artists?
Wonderful food and nice people. I hope they can stick around.
