Re: “Springs mayoral candidates rate Bach

Suthers would be Bach ver 2.0. He is also a prohibitionist. We need to get past the 1930's mentality that is holding CS back.

Re: “Bach will "disregard" Council mandate

Attn. Liberals...not all conservatives voted for Bach. I was right with the Oldcrank shouting from the rooftop that old B. was going to be catering to the developers. Read mo money in the pockets of those they love.

I voted for Skorman, as a Republican, and many of us did.

But now here is something I want to point out to you. Many of you Libs are nothing more than the hypocrits you keep calling out the repubs for. Do you think your beloved BO is behaving any differently from old B? Both are damaging our country & city.

We all need to take a step back and make better choices for the better of all citizens.
Too many voters are voting party lines, voting for empty promises of blessing of insurance, or abortion, or citizenry, but we are all getting screwed by these elected officials who cater to corporations, unions, special interest. We need a government for the PEOPLE, and we have lost it.

Re: “Herpin to be sworn in Oct. 3

I stand corrected, and do apologize!

It is time to legalize what has been prohibited, and it is time for our city to move forward!

Re: “Herpin to be sworn in Oct. 3

Herpin can be the next recall - he stood with the prohibitionist city council of Colorado Springs in voting to ban recreational marijuana shops. We voted for them, the prohibitionist in our government are going to pay the price in all future elections.

WAKE UP! We elected these people to represent us, not their own uneducated, or misinformed positions. We know what is best for us, not them. Do our will!

Re: “Marijuana proponents oppose marijuana tax

@ Rocky - First, you and the rest, need to stop thinking in the mindset of prohibitionist.
The real problem is marijuana/cannabis should have never been made illegal.

Please take the time to study the truth out. Making it illegal was done to serve the rich (by taking out competition to paper, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, etc.), imprison the poor, especially Mexcian and Black Americans, or immigrants, and the laws have been used against law abiding citizens to ruin their lives, and take their properties.

Look at the states that are still hard pressed in prohibition - like Texas. The government in Texas has been bigoted for years, yet the federal government has played along all this time.

We need to take our government back from these corrupt control freaks. The government should be set up to protect our freedom, remember this is America, not a socialist nation like Russia or China.

Speak up, and vote these prohibitionist out. It is time for a real CHANGE!
