I applaud the option to opt out of the printed phone books. Now days we are concerned for the environment as well as the trees. What is the carbon cost of all of the inks, the printing and the distribution of millions of these monsterous books, especially in large cities where it comes in multiple volumes?

Re: “Are owners of the burned homes 'rich'?”
The IRS labels rich as $250K/year. So no, most of them are not rich. They are mostly regular people that lost more than most of us would ever care to. Best of luck to those starting over. Even those who didnt loose everything have a lot of work to do to get there houses back up to code. Replacing roofs, windows, paint, landscaping, carpet, etc. Smoke, heat and water damage can add up quick. Lets hope the insurance companies can keep the crooked contractors at bay. They really screwed some of us on the east side with the hail damage "repairs" the last couple of years. Nothing like a brand new leaky roof!
