Hey Rich - my only disagreement is about the goat herder thing. Tom and Doris Zubal (nee-Morris) of Hoehne, CO are the BEST goat herders in the State of Colorado. If you ever get down Trinidad way, go out to their goat farm and buy a wheel of freshly made goat cheese. It is the best you will ever have. They sell to both Safeway and WalMart in southern Colorado. How do I know this? My in-laws are from Trinidad and I have been eating Zubal Dairy cheese for over 30 years, plus I had both Tommy and Doris as students in the 70's when I first started teaching school in Hoehne. Anyway - great column as usual! Glad you got to meet Hick!

Thanks for the laughs, Rich! Always great as usual. I think I remember reading your very first column that you wrote for the Gazette about going up on Rampart Range Road and cutting down a Christmas tree around 1993. I've fished 11-Mile on the ice as well, and can attest to the "nether regions" numbing coldness.

Not sure how this is even possible. One has to be 18 yrs old to get a MMJ card which involves getting a prescription from a licensed MD or DO. And in order to enter a dispensary, a MMJ card must be produced. So since most high school kids are under 18 (until their senior year for most), MMJ dispensaries causing high school students to drop out is not even a possiblity. They can't even legally enter a dispensary unless they have a card which the can't get until they are 18.
