You want to boost State revenue? Legalize for recreation. Charge fees for grower permits and tax the hell out of it at the stores. Weed is not a big deal and makes people far less stupid than drinking. In a true Democracy the government couldn't regulate what you put in your body anyways. To do so calims ownership of an individual which is just wrong. Colorado Springs is just the most backwards, evangelical city in the State. I live in rural Mountain areas and redneck folks up in the hills are a bit more relaxed about things. I think a vote to leaglize across the board would pass by a landslide if not for Colorado Springs groups like New Life Church and Focus on the Family. Groups who condemn homosexuals, and marijuana but have leaders who do Meth and shag male prostitutes on Colfax. Live and let live folks.

Our economy is dismal and MMJ has added Billions of Dollars to the State budget. Opposed or for it, the logical sollution is to continue to generate revenue. The voters passed it through the Democratic process. People have forgotten how Democracy works. Everyone thinks that their minority should get their way. What ever happened to live and let live. The person saying liquor is legal is real on top of the behavior of drinkers and stoners. Don't know many abusive stoners. However I know a gaggle of abusive drunks. If you don't want your kids smoking weed then do better as a parent. It's not the State's duty to shelter your children. It's thinking like that leads to to the oppresive Socialist Federal Government we currently enjoy. In my opinion Marijuana should be legal across the board for recreational purposes. It will generate revenue and maybe everone will CHILL OUT!!! Go Breckenridge!
