Chris Brown= Rhianna beater. Chris Tucker = Funny Jackie Chan Movie guy.
Please. All these arguments about "preserving the sanctity of marriage" are a laughable joke. Where is all the righteous indignant outrage over serial divorce, TV shows like "The Bachelor/Bachelorette", "Who Wants To Marry a Multi-Millionaire", and "Bridezillas" , and quickie Vegas wedding schtick? It's nowhere. That is because people who make this ludicrous argument think that it's OK to treat marriage like a silly pastime, as long as they perceive it's being done by "normal" people. Arguably, gay people take their ability to marry much more seriously and treat it with MUCH more sanctity than the majority of the straight population, but they are icky gays so we have to preserve our centuries-old traditions to spite them. THAT is the real motive behind these absurd arguments. I am straight and proudly married to the love of my life, and whether any other two people on the planet get married or not, has ZERO impact on my marriage or anyone else's. Get over yourselves.
Since when do memes have to have points?
I wish this would extend to all forms of solicitation. I have nothing against Greenpeace as an organization, but I tire of being pulled aside by a different starry-eyed volunteer three times a week.
Pre-renovation, Jorge's was one of my favorite places. Now, it's terrible. La Carreta is the place to be for great mexican food now.
The residents of El Paso County still pay 1% extra in sales tax for the PPRTA, 10% of which was to establish and expand fixed-route bus service to unincorporated areas of El Paso County, and was specifically NOT to be used to subsidize service to the City of Colorado Springs. Yet, that is exactly what happened in 2008 with Mountain Metro retracted service to the "urban core" of Colorado Springs. It doesn't matter if they are great in other areas if they cannot maintain even minimum service that they are REQUIRED to.
Yeah these people that draw people to the Downtown area, benefiting surrounding business many times over and generally contributing to the economic health of the community are are a black stain on the city and have to be stopped!
