Re: “Weinstein: 'A state of war' with AFA

Carl, your comments are ridiculous and completely unfounded. Your attacks are so predictable these days when anything "Christian" is slammed and put down by people like you as manipulation and like being in a "cult", when you and others like you would be "up in arms" if anyone attacked a Jewish or Muslim or Buddhist or agnostic group about their teachings.
Whether you agree with everything they teach is besides the point, I'm fairly confident a person like you doesn't agree or tolerate much of anything that you personally don't believe, so your judgment upon them shows your immaturity and two faced actions. I have known the Warricks for many years and their hearts and objectives for these young adults have nothing to do with trying to "convert" cadets to a certain way of thinking or religious belief. They teach principles that they feel are completely scriptural and found throughout the Bible and will help these Cadets become all God wants them to be. This ministry to help Cadets costs them thousands of dollars a year and countless hours donating their time. Nobody is forcing these kids to listen to this or go to their ministry are they? Much like any preacher or priest may interpret principles in the Bible in front of his or her congregation on Sunday differently than another doesn't mean everyone is trying to shove Christianity or beliefs down peoples throats. This is a free country if you remember so why do you care what Cadets are electively choosing to listen to and spend their limited free time going to. At 18 to 22 years old don't you think these students have a mind of their own and can choose for themselves how they want to spend their time and what they want to believe?
Obviously the leadership at the Academy understands this far better than you and have chosen tolerance instead of telling their students what they can and can't do..which if they did would seem much more "cult" and Moonie like.
Just because you choose to not understand something doesn't mean you have the right to go spreading accusations and misinformed comments around. Keep these to yourself until you do.
