You must try this restaurant! Nowhere else in town have I found so much attention and care for the ingredients and preparation of the food. Best Tomato soup I've ever had.

I have stopped going to Tony's since they started using this system. It feels intrusive to me, I certainly won't be attending any other establishments that decide to implement this safety feature.
This article sure wasn't written from the perspective of anyone who has any deeper knowledge of PERA other than the past few years debate. The program was of central importance when attracting qualified persons to public service positions and has been for many the only real reward for their selflessness.
What great news!
What an incredible story! Really makes me think about my own drinking habits and those of the people around me.
If you're concerned with quality and potency, all you need is to read reviews of the shops you are thinking about going to, and they'll tell you if that store is providing the kind of quality medicine you want. State regulation will accomplish very little in affecting the quality available, customer demand however will force all growers and dispensaries to maintain a high level of quality in their product or face failure in their business.
This will never be able to be effectively enforced. The only proper way to test someone who has imbibed marijuana on their driving ability is with a sobriety test tailored to the effects of marijuana. Virtually all manners of testing for marijuana within a persons body are faulty and do not accurately represent the capacity of that person to safely operate a moving vehicle. Marijuana's effects on any individual can vary widely depending on a number of factors. It is not fair to say that John is safe to drive because his test levels are acceptable when the truth is he just imbibed before leaving home and is actually far too incapacitated to drive, but Mary, gets arrested because her test puts her over the limit even though she hasn't imbibed since the night before. But does time from imbibing even matter? There are those who use marijuana to become Sober enough to function. In fact, it is true that many medical marijuana users cannot function at high enough level to work or drive unless they use the medicine. There are people who after a small amount should not drive. There are those who after a large amount can still drive safely. And there are those who can't drive unless they medicate. The capacity to drive should be self regulated. Only you know if you are able to drive. This is especially true when it comes to the use of medical marijuana.
Education is the solution, not regulation. Virtually any drug is available to anyone who wants it in this country. In Downtown Colorado Springs, kids from the high school can go pick up Salvia and other legal herbs and smoke them and feel some sort of "High". Anyone can use or abuse a variety of over the counter drugs and chemicals available in our grocery stores. Fact is, people are going to do things to alter their mental, physical, and emotional states. We do it every day when we feed our hunger with food. We participate in activities that make us feel good. We use drugs. If we can't be honest about ourselves, our communities, and how we interact with the drugs around us, we will cripple our ability to help ourselves and those around us who need it most.
