I am also a welder and would love to expand on my artistic side. I was a single mom of three girls on welfare, til I registered at Pikes Peak Community College and got my A.A.S. in welding, I too was amazed and intriged by every metal I could get my hands on. But money still tight, in the Springs theres not much besides production welding to make a living, don't get me wrong I learned alot, but unless you know someone in the artistic side and or have alot of money, your out of luck, which I find myself in. My girls are grown and its my turn, I especially love TIG welding, and would give ANYTHING to have someone like Bear to take me under her wing and continue her work and help create her legacy. Someday I would like to make small scuptures for those in nursing homes or hospices to let them know they are not alone and someone cares. I do believe dreams come true, mine's coming. Bear your gift is precious and thank you for sharing it for all to see. I'm looking forward to seeing your next project.
